interesting thing to note, this is the 3rd unit in the game that can work with Juhani's omicron (the other two being starkiller and maul). Maybe a possibility for some nuts stuff there too

While SLKR doesnt make sense in 5v5, i feel that it could in 3v3 with SLKR KRU Malicos. All unaligned force users, so synergy activates. That saviour mechanic should shut down troopers, as even if they roll, the bonus turn will put a stop to a weak 3v3 trooper train. The increased damage turns SLKR into a monster and may stop other GLs getting through him as easily. It also frees up hux for another team.

This has been a pattern with conquest units, first with starkiller and malgus, now with malicos. Can't wait to see how he performs next grand arena! I also have a question, feel free to answer. On gary's zeta, specifically the part about his offense increase, does he count allies that were defeated then revived, for example, in a moff gideon led team? If so, i have a feeling he could put out some big damage like that one time in jedi master Luke's event

there was talk about the gary offense increase it works only when characters die but not when they revive so if gideon lead revives a trooper then he will still get the defense % but if that character dies again permanently THEN you gain the offense %

Any thoughts on if a non-ult GL Leia squad could counter the Cere / Malicos squad? I expect to see that squad tomorrow in GAC and I think I'll give her a go vs it. Being a GL, Leia will turn off a lot of Cere's leadership kit, which won't hurt.

Ben Swolo is very restricted to light side Rey lead teams, he can be pretty much ignored outside those in my experience. In terms of a possible 3v3 team with Rey and Malicos, I'd rather put Cal instead of Ben in there

You don't want them slow the entire battle. Remember, the stat boost only happens up until the first turn Cere's team takes. At 270 Taron will not be going before the enemy team at the beginning. Once you finally take your first turn you want to make sure he has some degree of speed to take lots of turns.

This definitely is one of the weirdest characters in terms of how his abilities interact with different teams. So much turns on/off depending on the lineup.

The issue is more two fold 1) how fast can he stack up his debuff (this makes him easier to kill) 2) how long does he stay alive He resets his own 3rd special as is

Not necessarily, Cere lead gives big boosts if your opponents take the first turns, and tm on taking damage. I’m setting my team all near 220 speed

With Cere lead and Cal’s unique, you benefit from the enemy taking as many turns as possible before you take your first turn. And since Malicos is giving you damage immunity at the start of battle, I think you can pretty much do a 0 extra speed Cere team and all of those turns get you a ton of bonus stats, debuffs from Cal, and reduce the cooldown of Cere’s right special

@@somethingdark66 I just looked around at some creators and big accounts speeds on cere and friends, saw pretty much a range from 200-250. Decided I’d rather be on the slower side to maybe get 1 or 2 more turns of boosts. I’d shoot for somewhere in that range

It depends where you are at. In my neck of the woods, no one has used KRU with SLKR in ages now. Ninth Sister is a decent placement in the Cere team if you do not want to give up KRU. A tank is invaluable in the Cere team.

Honestly I’m not even where Ahnald is and i typically like to make 2 teams out of FO I put FO Stormtrooper with SLKR and leave KRU for phasma or random team for Pre taunt i find doing it more with brood alpha as well for the pre taunt genos aren’t beating as much and SLKR can carry with double tank and/or KRU

The Malicos 5v5 SK Savage Cere team won’t work because Cere is going to turn off. In 3v3 Cere Malicos and SK can still work tho. Also Malicos and the Cere team needs to be slow and bulky. I saw you have Cere with Speed mods which is bad

You’re right but other parts of her lead works and Starkiller gives bonuses in place of the ones lost. Also, ignore those Cere mods you saw (that was specific for my 100% success rate for the Bracca special mission). Mods are much different for GAC.
