I like to rank jedi like ufc fighters. Older ufc fighters like the gracie brothers were amazing in their prime but now they are old so they are no longer as potent. So a “newer” “younger” ufc fighter would be able to beat a older renowned ufc fighter. It must be similar for jedi like you have your champion who will beat anyone in a duel and then your contenders who could maybe beat the champion 1 out of 3 times.

It's the prequel trilogy there is no sequel trilogy. Unless you're talking about the EU, but even then there's more than three books.
@cantreadyourname95054 жыл бұрын
My favorite part is when he says: “The Darkness here, it almost took me...” You expect him to say that he has overcome it or defeated the darkness within him like every other Jedi do, but he countinues: “But I conquered it!” It clearly shows that Malicos doesn’t even realize that he had become the evil he was fighting his whole life. He think he conqured this dark power, when in reality it consumed him. The betrayal of clones, his tight escape and the crash landing on this dark place completely crushed his mind. He thinks he had evolved in the force and managed to gain this dark power without being succumbed to the dark side. However he was completely right about the Jedi Order.
@Crowliflower884 жыл бұрын
Oh I agree. My favorite part about this character is how he continues to justify every horrible thing he does as if he had to, but hes still good. Hes clearly crazy and fully corrupted, but doesnt even realize it.
@MrImastinker3 жыл бұрын
Well, he was sort of right. Cal had a point that the Jedi could change, be better than before. Hell that’s what was so cool about Luke’s new Jedi Order in the EU, they rose above the old generation’s failure. But Malicos is too jaded, too cynical to even consider it.

“For over a thousand generations the Jedi Knights were the guardians of peace and justice in the Old Republic.” He wasn’t right about the Jedi Order. He was just another one of the weak Jedi who fell to the dark side because he valued power more than the will of the Force. Let’s stop acting like the Jedi were bad. They got comfortable, if anything. They weren’t bad.
@cantreadyourname95052 жыл бұрын
@@logicaldude3611 You clearly never saw the prequel and the clone wars series. The jedi were blind, arrogant and playing god from a literal tower over the galaxy in the name of peace during the time of the Republic. They were the guardians that Obi-wan talked about for a very long time. But after they destroyed the sith they got full of themeselves. Entire planets invaded and conquered because they wanted independence. Children kidnapped and tore from their families to be integrated into a cult. They played into the games of a sith lord because they were too confident and arrogant to think that they can lose.

I really do think that Taron Malicos' perspective was a decent take on the situation at hand. It's easy to see how he'd come to the conclusion he did considering that he was a Jedi Master and a prominent figure in the Clone Wars. Stuck on Dathomir where he was both safe from the empire but cut off from the light side of the force, he made the best of a bad situation.

Would you guys do A Star Wars Story video on Asajj Ventress that mixes in the expanded universe and canon Here’s my timeline suggestion about her so far Dooku: Jedi Lost (audiobook) Clone Wars 2003 (Chapter 6 -7) Star Wars Republic 53: Blast Radius (Dark Horse comic) Clone Wars 2003 (Chapter 11 - 19) The Cestus Deception (novel) Star Wars Republic 58: Battle of Jabiim, Part 4 (Dark Horse comic) Star Wars Republic 59: Enemy Lines (Dark Horse comic) Star Wars Republic 60: Hate and Fear (Dark Horse comic) Rogue’s Gallery Yoda: Dark Rendezvous (novel) Jedi Trial Clone Wars 2003 (that scene in Chapter 21 where Anakin is knighted by the Jedi Council) Star Wars Republic 71: Dreadnaughts Of Rendili (Dark Horse comic) Clone Wars 2003 (after the scene in Chapter 21 until after Padme sees Anakin's scar) Star Wars: Obsession (Dark Horse comic series) The Clone Wars 2008 Hidden Enemy The Clone Wars theatrical release Ambush Rookies Cloak of Darkness Lair of Grievous Brain Invaders ARC Troopers Heroes on Both Side Nightsisters Monster Witches of the Mist Massacre Bounty Brothers Revenge To Catch a Jedi The Wrong Jedi Dark Disciple (Novel) Lethal Alliance The Mission Conspirators Dark Disciple Saving Vos Part 1 Saving Vos Part 2 Traitor The Path And just so you know in order for this timeline to be more cohesive I had to take a lot of stories from their already established time periods, like the comic where Asajj gives Anakin his scar, the comic series where Obi Wan suspects Asajj might not be dead, along with the comic about Asajj being in a bacta tank with cybernetic enhancements, is betrayed Count Dooku, fakes her death, hijacks a ship, and disappears into the unknown regions, all those stories that take place near months before ROTS and move them all the way back to before the beginning of the The Clone Wars 2008 series with everything from canon along with Asajj’s eventual fate, playing out exactly the same as it does, along with some explanations of my own to explain the inconsistencies of this timeline Ideas for fixing some inconsistencies in this timeline: Maybe after Asajj Ventress was born in Dathomir as part of the clan of Nightsisters, her clan come into contact under a threat associated with the Siniteen criminal Hal’Sted. In order to ensure her clan's safety, Mother Talzin arranged for Asajj’s mother to give her up to Hal'Sted, who took her away from Dathomir to be raised as a slave on the planet Rattatak and while at the same time Asajj was also raised by the Ventresses (as seen in Legends) and had most likely been the ones who gave her given her surname, and after Hal'Sted along her foster parents were killed during an assault by Weequay raiders, Jedi Master Ky Nerec who had been stranded on Rattatak after his starship crashed decides to take Ventress into his care and train her as his Padawan, until years later when he too is eventually also killed by Weequay raiders, (similar to as seen in Legends) Maybe Ventress when she was placed in a bacta tank by Count Dooku and given cybernetic modifications to amplify her rage, and later on be unexpectedly abandoned by Dooku, after ordering a Magna Guard to kill her as it shoots her down, Ventress laid dying, with Obi-Wan ordering her apparent corpse to be placed aboard a medical shuttle, the med runner Br with Alpha 17, However while on board the medical shuttle it’s later revealed that in actuality Ventress didn’t actually die but had instead placed herself in a Sith trance back in Boz Pity to heal the wounds, as she emerged from her trance and ordered the pilots to alter their course and take her as far away as possible from the war, Dooku, and the Jedi, as the pilots complied and flew somewhere hidden in the unknown regions never to be seen again, or so we thought, as it turns out that the cybernetic modifications that were given to Ventress by Count Dooku actually contains a secret tracking device built into it, which Dooku can use to track Ventress down, because of that it allowed Dooku to learn about Ventress surviving his attempted murder, and Dooku realizing how strong, powerful, and still useful Ventress is to him, decides to go out around the galaxy to try and find her, and with the help of his tracking device he successfully ends up finding Ventress, as Asajj is not at all happy to see Dooku again after betraying her and tries to attack him, however Dooku knocks Ventress out unconscious and is taken to a bacta tank in some medical facility, where there Dooku has Ventress’s memory of his betrayal be removed, in order for her to trust him and become his loyal apprentice again, as the medical droids remove her memories by tampering with her cybernetic modifications that connected through her brain waves, after that was over they then take her out of the bacta tank and transfer her in a medical bed, as the medical droids then begin then removing all of Ventress’s cybernetic modifications, as Dooku ordered the removal of Ventress’s cybernetic modification orders because Palptines demand them to be removed due to his growing fear of Ventress becoming far to powerful and how all those cybernetic modifications are just increasing it, and after the removal of Ventress’s cybernetic modifications she would soon recover and without any recollection of once having them or her betrayal by Dooku and so because of that Ventress then continues to serve under Dooku as his loyal apprentice as if nothing had ever happened, as we would continue to see her serving under Dooku as The Clone Wars 2008 series begins, that is until she’s later betrayed by Dooku again after had Palpatine senses Ventress becoming far too powerful and his growing fears of becoming too powerful slowly becoming realized as he orders Dooku to kill her, which then leads her to reuniting with mother Talzin and her nightsister clan and becoming an official nightsister, becoming a bounty hunter, going on a mission with Jedi Quinlan Vos to assassinate Dooku and later then falling in love with Vos, and eventually dying from the hands of her former master Dooku after sacrificing her life to save Vos, and in her final moments completely renounces the dark side, just like Obi Wan always thought she would deep down inside, as Vos along with Obi wan burying with Ventress with all her other deceased nightsisters on Dathomir Though a little off topic maybe the reason why the witches of Dathomir and the planet of Dathomir are different from how see them in Legends is because maybe the witches we see in TCW lead by Talzin are just a special separate clan of nightsisters different from the usual nightsisters as instead of viewing their force magic from a neutral sense with neither light side or dark side these nightsisters lead by Talzin are just of the few clans who view their force magic from the dark side, and as for the planet of Dathomir maybe the reason why it’s different from how we see it in Legends is either because at some point before and after the the clone wars Talzin and her clan of nightsisters had become the dominant rulers of Dathomir and at some point during her reign she probably had the other clan of nightsisters banished to somewhere on the planet far away from them and eventually slowly turning half of the planet from a lush swampy jungle area (as seen Legends) to a red mist spooky dystopian wasteland (as seen TCW) probably due to something involving their dark side magic though once Talzin and her entire clan of nightsisters are eventually all killed off the the red mist spooky dystopian wasteland areas of the planet then slowly begins regaining it’s lush swampy jungle terrain with the vegetation on the planet slowly beginning to all grow back as it all eventually returns to how we saw the planet as from the pre and post clone wars era (as seen in Legends) though maybe with the exception of the stone fortress where Talzin’s clan used to be (as seen in Rebels), either that or the red mist spooky dystopian wasteland of Dathomir we saw in TCW was just another particular area on the planet That’s all I got so far and don’t worry I’ll be making one for Quinlan Vos as well

5:09 Malicos point is that with a low resource, morality is just a barrier. Could be characterized as utilitarianism, as he prioritized the outcome of the action On the other hand, Cal's philosophy could be characterized as more stoic, as he emphasized the importance of considering the broader implications of the action and the impact it would have on oneself and others. In my humble opinion, Malicos point is logical, they're not even in a war, they're trying to survive. Morality in such situation may cost the lives of thousands. Cal should have given him a chance, since he may become useful as a weapon, a distraction, in a strategy warfare

I hope he somehow survived and comes back again. Like with Darth Maul before the Clone Wars he was just so interesting that him getting killed off so early was unfortunate.

I believe in Jedi Fallen Order 2, Cal and the gang will go on an adventure looking for more Jedi hidden through the galaxy and will have to come against more sith inquisitors, this is where Cal will ask nightsister to bring back Malicos to assist them in restoring the Jedi, i truly believe that certain characters such as the nightsister and Malicos are not going to be under utilised for future games.

The crazy part to me is this whole story is canon to the main story

I’d love a book about Malicos. Through the last years of the clone wars, him escaping order 66, how he met Marin and studied Night Sister magic, and all the while he’s falling to the dark side.

God I hope he returns in Jedi Survivor as the final boss where Cal is finally ready to defeat him on his own

This boss fight was the hardest in the game for me. I beat the last boss in one try on the hardest difficulty. I had to lower the difficulty for this guy lbs

What are your thoughts on the controversy surrounding the upcoming Netflix film “Cuties”?
@TheScoundrelsCantina4 жыл бұрын
The Pedowood cult should be burnt to the ground. It's been known for decades who is behind the entertainment but never like today. We are just glad that the "conspiracy theories" are finally not theories anymore and that everyone is waking up.

The Cuties trailer currently now has over 1.1M dislikes! A dislike ratio far larger than the trailer of Marvel’s New Warriors and probably one of the most disliked videos on the entire Netflix KZbin channel which clearly says a lot about how many people hate the idea of this movie

The Scoundrels Cantina could you do a video on what you think happened to Taron Malicos. Also could you do a what if video if Darth Maul and Savage Opress killed Darth Sidous.

We need another open world Old Republic game or I’d die for an open world Clone Wars game where you can choose your path similar to SWTOR.

Hes just a disillusioned good guy which is sad. In his eyes he was still good and doing everything for the better and that makes his character special

Plot twist. Taron while being a shady character had plans to learn magic and the Darkside to defeat Darth Vader and the Emperor. He became enraged over Cal being naive about restarting the order and turning Marrin against him and his plan. The fight was on and all over a misunderstanding of the group.
