On the subject of directions that some of the Majors are facing that differ from typical early decks I’m especially intrigued by the Strength and Hermit card - unlike RWS decks usually Strength card is number 11 (XI), while Justice is 8 and the Hermit is 9 (IX) - here, Justice is still 8 but the Hermit is XI and Strength is IX which makes me wonder if when the artist was creating the original woodblocks did he forget to mirror the image - because if you flip the Hermit card, then not only is it number IX like on almost every other tarot deck in existence but he’s also facing the left (the past) and the mirror image of Strength would be XI, like traditional Marseille and early decks.

I agree about the Queen of Cups, she is really beautiful...also King of Wands in readings for me is usually the ultimate "yes" card, like if there's a question, should I ... that one actually looks like he's about to jump - totally works for me! Do you use the Vandenborre Bacchus? It's got a few different cards that I like, but the not upside down Hanged Man is aggravating to me. Once again, good to hear your voice.

I'm thinking this deck should be read right to left? I just received this deck and it's really interesting 🧐, loving the Lightning, Star, Moon and Sun meanings 😊🙏🏻😊 it may well be a slightly different read but this is what makes it so special
