I love a good RWS clone. This deck is beautiful! It’s rich in texture and lighting. I wrote it down last week after you showed a few of them in 3FR and now I’m sure that I need to proceed with ordering. The astrology cards and optional cards feel like icing on the cake. I enjoyed this flip through of this deck. I do enjoy the RWS representation of each card and this deck is essentially that with an updated look. Love it! My only gripe is that I wish it was a full page art or a darker border.

Fabulous overview and WHAT a ***FABULOUS*** deck. I put down my use of tarot and astrology about 12 years ago. I gave away my 40 decks of cards! Now I am returning and find I need to introduce myself to what has become available since last I was within the community. I am blown away by some of the decks I am seeing arise and I must say that this one has captured me on many, many levels. I will definitely be adding this into the fold ASAP. I see Irish Tarot reader Lily uses the alternate art cards in her readings together with the original, as she sees them reflecting a different context...a lighter or a darker one. I've watched her work, and it seems to really work in terms of what the cards decide to tell on particular issues.

Very nice artwork ! This surely triggered my CTDAS (Compulsive Tarot Deck Acquisition Syndrome). Too bad a borderless version wasn't considered. Maybe this was too challenging on the printing part? I agree it's a very nice gesture to include alternative versions of some of the artwork. However, I don't see much use for the astrology cards. Tarot is my thing. Thanks for this video.

Yes everything is very idealized, the astrology portion of the deck does have people of color though so I am glad they put it there since their intention was to do an exact clone of Pixies art. The art does have that feel - very high fantasy art too. The Magician is my favorite by far!

Hi! I just watched this after seeing it on IG. It's gorgeous and I love the perspective changes on the cards. My only sort of hesitation are the astrology cards....the male cards are awesome, but the female cards leave me wondering why they all look like professional ice skaters? Seriously, that is what popped into my head when I saw them! Going to put it on my list and think about it. Thanks for the walk through!

The deck does come from the east, so their aesthetic is slightly different. Also I believe the artist is a very well know anime/graphic novel artist. Context is key before critique.

I love so much about this deck and I enjoyed this video as I do all your videos. I was thrilled by the art of the main rws part of the deck and enjoyed seeing the alternate card styles( I too would prefer the darker tones, such as in the hermit). I am....not sure I'm going to buy it though. I was ecstatic when you mentioned it included astrology cards. I love the node cards and I love the concept in general. But...having all the astrological signs be very, as you said, "body beautiful" females is a huge turn off to me. It's kind of hard to explain but it feels like such a cheapening of the actual idea of the signs, not to mention that it doesn't feel connected to me at all or really to my client base. Astrology signs are very personal I feel. I do love art and beauty is important but...there are different types of beauty. I dunno, I may buy it and just not use those cards. But thanks for the video and giving me something new to think about! I love your taste in decks.

Do you know of Lichodziejewski's tarot? Some of the images, colours (ex. Hanged Man, Death and Temperance) and styles are strangely familiar... I know that these are both RWS clones, but still.

Im not familiar with that deck but I did look at some walkthroughs. Similar in concept but still unique to each other. Lichodziejewski 's work has a very stylized nature to it, especially his figures which all appear disproportionate in the sense that they are long and lanky you can see this in the Hanged Man for sure. Also the color palletes used are very different Lichodziejewski's is much more saturated. The Death cards have completely different compositions as well. An interesting deck for sure, I would grab a copy if it had English titles.
