Oh man, I'm glad I'm not the only one who doesn't care for the Wild Unknown deck. The illustrations themselves are nice, but they just don't click with me. Now seeing the complete set, I realise I'm just not a fan of the artstyle.

Omg just seeing this now, and I totally agree! I really don’t get what people see in the Wild Unknown decks or why they like them lol. To each his own, haha! Thanks for sharing! 👏🏻

I knew when you said you had all three. Me too. I kept thinking I would “get” the Wild Unknown. I’ve even got the journal. Hate ‘em.

I just saw this on Insta and it is so refreshing. Some 'negative' impressions and feedback are every bit as important and can sprout interesting conversations and insight, but people are practically terrified of them. It is possible to express issues with a deck or tool without shooting it- or the creator- down and it is valid as hell. I think this video does a great job illustrating what constructive, sincere criticism is. Cheers!

Finally found another tuber who's not overly gushing on decks and it's so refreshing 😌 I totally agree with you with some mass-produced decks that require you to read and study the guidebook just so that you can get the meanings right. That's not to say that I'm not putting the work and effort, but I want to jog my intuition without using the book as much as a crutch. Mind if you do an Anti-haul video next time? I'd love to see that 😊

This video is from a while back. I didn’t really know what I liked and what I didn’t like , so alot of them were bought out of peer pressure or FOMO. . I do the same thing as you do now. I wait patiently till a flipthrough is available and think about it. Haha

Hahaha excellent! Please more bitchin some tarot decks! 😆 Have you tried the Fountain Tarot? Some cards are, in my opinion, so frustrating because they are baaaad and the rest of the deck is just so awesome. Anyway. Always a pleasure to bitch and laugh at some cards, it’s refreshing and it keeps the TAROT practice alive and much more fun. 🤸🏻♀️🌚✨ Thank you from Canada!

Here for the drama :D - you better not disappoint - this is my procrastination from house cleaning. Nah didn't get my feelings hurt, but I am gonna check that in between deck out cuz I think I might like it. - does this mean I now HAVE TOO go clean my home :S

Hi, I created this video like 1000 years ago and I no longer stand by most of the opinions. Did I rehome most the decks in this video tho? 100%, the only one I miss is the Kim Krans Spirit Animal oracle (which I will repurchase in its pocket form).

Sorry but I'm laughing at your misery with the "unknown" cards because I'm Greek and the names make perfect sense to me. In fact I'm now considering but those decks. Bless you for being so honest about how annoying your finding some decks, it makes a nice change to most tarot reviews.

Hahaha I got rid of all the wild unknown decks bar the archetypes. I’ve learned how to work with it now

@@Masculineintuitionreadings DAMN you could have flogged them to ME! Glad you're now understanding the remaining cards better...maybe after your rant about them they decided to be a bit less of a damp squib about sharing their hidden depths with you and are now behaving themselves? Sometimes I think the cards just need to get a thorough telling off in order for them to play nicely. So all the best dear chap, enjoy your cards and stay safe and well, Magda

I saw this by Nina at Shuffle Tarot wrote the keywords on the borders. I can’t buy archetype deck as new as I would have to change the art on so many of them, I’m waiting for a second hand copy

I did a deck mod on my Wild Unknown Archetypes deck that makes it easy to use without the guidebook- kzbin.info/www/bejne/sJOmmIWCoL-UbMU I also did the same with Wild Unknown Spirit Animal deck too- kzbin.info/www/bejne/gn_cemZ7e9aAf5Y Now I can use both without the books.

The two other decks you showed...yes, terrible. I disagree about the Kim Krans decks. (as we do) I suggest, you read the guidebook for the Archetypes. It's really interesting, and it actually tells you why she made that deck. I modded my Archetypes deck, and now I don't need the guidebook..and I learned a lot. I can understand your point, regarding the need for a keyword, and a little something to kick on your intuition...but a little reading can be really enlightening. I really hate some of the popular decks out there. Fountain tarot for example..yuck. I don't like any of the Ciro Marchetti decks - blech, ugly. Wizards tarot, Edgar Allen Poe tarot (so disappointing) the nine millionth copy of RWS...oy vey. The Visconte Sforza - impossible to read with...hard to make out the details. 90,000 different copies of the same Marseilles deck, Why?

I made this video a while ago, and I agree. The archetypes deck is the only one I kept. And I quite like it now. To be quite honest; sometimes it’s just the fact that everyone seems to be using sometimes that puts me off of the product.

I wish you elaborated more on The Wild Unknown. I feel really pulled towards it but at the same time, I can see what you’re trying to say about Krans’ work in general. There’s something that feels so pretentious about them. The cards looks great, but I feel like some just don’t make sense and it’s as though it was done for an added touch of “mystery”. The more I watch flip throughs of the deck, the harder it seems to possibly connect with the cards. I don’t know, they’re very attractive to the eye though.
@Masculineintuitionreadings3 жыл бұрын
I am honestly a bit more mature about things now as I was a year ago. It’s just that while the decks are objectively gorgeous, and the tarot deck is fine; I got sick of seeing it everywhere and I got sick of the community treating Krans as the penultimate deck creator (her decks are fine, however, not the second coming of christ). The spirit animal deck was… meh… okay, but could have benefited from some keywords. Funny thing; the archetypes deck (which I have the most problems with, is actually the only deck of hers still in my collection. All in all the biggest takeaway for me was; don’t but decks because they’re popular and everyone else is using them, try to figure out if they’re actually your thing, watch flipthroughs, be mindful of your purchases.

I’ve never been interested in the Wild Uknown decks.. but I do have my eye on the Archetypes deck. I feel like you may be creating your own wedge between using the deck instead of author though. It looks like it could serve as a personal study deck but if you go into it without the intentions of wanting to learn anything from an oracle deck, then it’ll be useless.
@Masculineintuitionreadings4 жыл бұрын
Exactly. I 100% agree with you. It’s just very personal, I like learning by doing. The earthbound oracle is for example is very simple at first glance, but there’s a lot to unpack there and that knowledge will unfold over time. The archetypes deck is pretty cool, but it also feels very pretentious.
