A much Appreciated Interesting Story. In the past, I have gone back to find the book or Kdrama's you retell and I have to honestly say that you truly don't miss much and give us an accurate account. I also love the fact your Husband asks the questions at just the right time many of us might not think about? Instead of a huge History Lesson on Korean Culture, their habits, and the reasons for their emphasis on materialism? All has slowly been explained through these " question and answer " parts making it easy to understand why and not be judgmental of the people, but more compassionate.

Hi stephanie! I love listening to your baking a mystery/murder during work :) Since it's around Thanksgiving I recommend watching coherence or perfect strangers! They both center around reunions/bonding!! Coherence -- a group of friends having dinner and a meteor (I think) getting super close to Earth which causes strange things to happen! Perfect Strangers -- a group of friends having a reunion and secrets start to reveal itself throughout the night but there's a plot twist at the end!

My thoughts are convoluted at best. She fell off a cliff and broke some bones, which ultimately will heal. He got stabbed in the eye, which is a permanent lifelong injury. Those two are NOT the same. STEPHANIE PLEASE SEE THISSSS Day 45 of asking Stephanie to do a video on a book called Caraval. It’s like a fantasy/clue/treasure hunt/romance book, it’s very entertaining and the next books just get better and better. But the first one can easily be a BAM and btw the author is also named Stephanie which is very fitting. The book is about two sisters who have dreamed of going to this once a year event called Caraval ever since they were little. It’s like a week long magic show where you have to follow clues and find whatever that year’s “treasure” is and the winner earns a wish granted by the creator of the game, Legend. This year the sisters receive an invitation sent by Legend himself so they embark on a trip to the island in which the games will take place but as soon as they arrive Donatella (the youngest of the two sisters) disappears. Scarlett thinks her sister must’ve already entered the game so she does as well only to find out that this year’s Caraval revolves around Tella. Whoever finds her first wins the wish granted by Legend. If nobody finds Donatella by the end of the week-long games then she will forever be gone. The book is part of a trilogy but I think it totally could work as a BAM without needing to do the next books (tho you surely could if people and yourself enjoy them). This story makes you trust nobody. And even if you’re constantly reminded that it is all a game, you fall under the same trap the fmc falls. It’s full of mistery and has a pretty shocking plotwist (at least shocking to me, but maybe you’ll see it from a mile away. Though I hope that’s not the case). It’s one of my favorite series of all time and I can perfectly picture you and MMB enjoying it.
