I just want to say that I regularly play mech in tarot mode (squire only) because I’m insane and every time someone asks me “mech in tarot?” or something we always win and I usually end up getting the most points as a squire. How to, mech in tarot: Abuse the fact that you’re incredibly slow at vaulting and vault back and forth so hunters decide whether to take the hit or wait it out Decode the first cipher with both teammates and it will go incredibly fast. Try to get to another cipher and decode at least 30% before shit starts going down knight wise Set your bot on the rest of the decoding as you go off to bodyblock. Don’t worry about missed calibrations and just return back to your bot whenever the decoding progress stops (you can also purchase a bot as a squire but it’s usually not the first thing on your mind) Broken windows to help catch up with your teammates, basically just go for an ideal squire build with healing and you’ll be fine Overall you shouldn’t bot body block unless in a situation like below. What you can do is make yourself the first meat-shield and save your dovlin purchase for when it really matters by getting healed by the other squire or your bot first Another strategy, especially if your king is looping around an area like the hospital is to get a bot to wait outside where they would most likely be chaired. This has saved the game for me twice when both squires are being taken down and I performed a bot rescue Still good in tarot, and I’m willing to defend this opinion 😎

Best surv team combos in tarot: 1. King- Doc, Squires- Seer, Enchant 2. King- Doc, Squires- Enchant, Enchant 3. King- Wildling, Squires- Doc Enchant 4. King- Wildling, Squires Seer, Enchant 5. King- Wildling, Squires- Doctor, Doctor (to buy time for Muro's Pig) 6. King- Mercenary, Squires- Doc, Enchant 7. King- Mercenary, Squires- Seer, Enchant 8. King- Perf, Squires- Doctor/Seer, Enchant Cowboy counter play strength: 1. In every team comp with seer he is barely alright cos seers can make a counter play on cowboy enemy king lasso 2. Cowboy is very very strong in a wildling king team comp cos his lasso can cancel Muro's Pig ride but cowboy's counter play is just fine if there are seer 3. Just alright in a team comp with a doc, cos doc can block hits and lasso if doc is a squire cos her main purpose is just to body block and be a meat shield 4. Strong against an enchant squire team comp cos enchant's main purpose is to get stacks while distancing their selves with the hunter to avoid getting downed and to stack skulls so the cowboy can do lasso's easily There are many chars but I'll only talk about the metas for now hope this helps 😁😁😁

The only downside of using seer as squire is that you have to be near the hunter almost all times (Y'know, to get more owls), and if the hunter isn't targeting you it's kinda hard

Yeah Using priestess as king in sacred Heart is pretty good. Have an enchantress and a doctor as squires. Depending on the hunter it's either you kite inside the hospital or outside. Usually just stay inside. The key to this team comp is when priestess is almost dead she has to die right outside birdcage. Doctor can heal her while enchantress stays inside birdcage to stall. This wastes so much time unless the hunter has excitement ready.

I am practicing cowboy and I discovered him at tarot, I think he's a S tier surv because he can lasso balloon and chair to rescue, he can snatch the king when being chased, he can assist the knight to catch the king and he can guard the enemy king's chair to prevent rescue(you can lasso the enemy squire when they want to rescue, personal experience) he's an all rounder squire. It's just my opinion

I apologise but I forgot to explain a couple of survivors positions in the video: Painter and Coordinator. PAINTER: Downsides: Has two paintings that run out very quickly and take a while to prepare. Upsides: Has a permanent speed boost after placing paintings, has decent kiting abilities. COORDINATOR: Downsides: Hunters usually carry excitement so her flare guns will most probably be the main target of excitement. Upside: Speed boost when attempting to recue, and can get multiple flare guns (with increased potency).

I play tarot nearly everyday, i do agree with your list tho id like to comment based on my own experience : Gravekeeper (King) - I do agree that Gravekeeper as Squire is pretty much useless, but him as King is a different story. He’s one of the main survivors i use for king, mainly bc he’s one of the survivors i bought. With the correct timing, that shovel could body block a hit for you similar to perfumer though this does take time and practice, it also gives you time to heal up using the dovlin, since if you get hit, you can just kite the hunter a little longer till you’re fully healed. Painter (King) - Also one of the main survivors i use as King, though he has a serious drawback which is if the hunter has Excitement which is likely to happen, but ive done pretty good kites with him in Tarot. Though i do agree with your position for Painter. As a squire, he can be useful to give your king time to transition but after that he’s useless. Lucky Guy (King) - As a gag, i decided to use Lucky Guy as the King for a period of time and honestly? Works surprisingly well LMAO. Though, if the hunter finds him before he can even loot or find a chest he’s pretty useless, which is why i avoid using Lucky Guy in Arms Factory, since that map is more spaced out and the chests are more scattered around the map unlikes the other 2 maps where chests could be right next to each other. Postman (Squire) - Postman as King, i do not recommend, since your letters are pretty much useless, plus you’ll only have one room for any other items you would want to buy in the store, but Postman as Squire is pretty good! You can give your King kiting letters then give your fellow Squire Bravery for that extra rescuing speed bonus, plus the dog to slow the hunter down to help them kite/transition! Prisoner (Squire) - I use Prisoner as Squire alot, though this is extremely dependent on the players. My strat for him is to decode, shower the King/Knight with money, save up my stuns and come help the King when he’s one hit away from being down. I use the build 69 when play Prisoner in Tarot so whenever im far away ill just vault a window and speed my way there, afterwards hide then stun the hunter when they have my King ballooned. Out of all the decoders, Prisoner and Lawyer are arguably the best ones to use. I did accidentally use Prisoner as King once tho, and what i did was connect cipher machines near me, get my stun and use that to my advantage. Embalmer (Squire) - You said you never seen Embalmer being used alot in Tarot, meanwhile i actually have a friend who mains him and uses him in our Tarot matches and he’s extremely useful! My friend likes to go to the opposite corner of where we spawned, spawn the coffin there and maybe even bait the knight to going there and help harass in any way they can. Embalmer as King, idk tho- Thats all i have, sorry for the rant! Personally, id rather have a King with limited skills so when they run out you can have 2 more spaces for items! I love Tarot, one of the best gamemodes imo hehe-

I agree with everything but Female Dancer and Wildling. Dancer I feel is a little better, specifically when in coms, if in coms you can tell your hunter where the boxes are or where you plan to use them so your knight will try to keep them from going over to that area, also forcing the enemy hunter to break the boxes is another strat. I think B fits her better. Wildling is a great king yes but has so many draw backs. His boar starts slow giving the hunter time to smack twice before reaching full speed, when not on his boar he is very slow, in my opinion, his character without the boar is practically useless and when off his boar he needs to rely solely on his team and any items he can get to stay alive. Finally the biggest weakness for King Wildling in Tarot, Gamekeeper aka Bane. Bane's hook instantly downs his boar as well as pulls Wildling to him, yes this can be body blocked but if bane doesn't swing at the squire that squire is slowed and also has chip damage, if Bane has presense anyway making rescue harder and body blocking harder, so unless you are doctor that puts you at a disadvantage. Overall he's a good King though, so maybe A or B when against anyone but Bane and B or C when against Bane

Well I have an objection, let's talk about Wildling's slow debuff, yes he is slow, that's why we have 2nd item slot to help him kite when he doesn't have his boar and when undoing the boar b4 it ends will make the cooldown of the boar a lil bit faster now let's talk about bane, do you think it'll be easy to hook a wildling if there are squires? Hmm? I played bane on a wildling b4 and I didn't think about the possibility of a Squires blocking a hook so we lose that match xD

DECODERS as squires are good but due to the meta no one has anything for them as just like 1v4 and 2v8 you can prime the cipher but the king has to kite for 3 ciphers high risk high reward as you can help the king and give hunter detention so 2 for 1

I always play cowboy even if I am king or squire. I think cowboy is very useful in hospital since he can jump off second story then lasso over the hunter to get up again wasting ton of time. Also as a squire you can lasso in hospital threw the windows forcing the hunter to go around.

As a soul weaver main I really struggle in tarot sometimes because the squires can just remove every single web I put down which makes it really hard to play her. On top of that soul weaver is weak against transitional kite so I recomment buying the elbow pads and the football against her but apart from that, her chase is pretty scary (also the fact that she can webshot the bubble). Whenever I play soul weaver in tarot I just pray that the squires don't run through the webs I set up lol

I generally agree with this list. I only really disagree with Vio being B+. He's one of the best campers and can double and down both the Squires and King at once with his 2nd skill. His chase somewhat holds him back though. I'd put him in A to S-.

I play Fem Dancer as Squire sometimes and it helps so much. The Hunter either takes the music box affects, or loses distance while my King gains distance is he breaks it. I love it.

Actually I would put seer as a king in A tier because of the vaulting debuff. It's relatively easy to get 2 or 3 owls which then makes your vaulting speed 20 to 30% slower (similar to minds eye), which is why I prefer seer as a squire.

The thing is, his mindgame is really good. So on a pallet heavy map with places to loop, amazing to use. A lot of The time you Can by a lot of time if you time properly. Also, you can use owls while vaulting!

In the early game I totally agree, but once you use a couple of owls it's gonna be hard to loop areas because of the incredible slow vaulting speed. Also I'd say that it's easier to farm owls as a squire because looking behind you all the time as a king can be hard, while it's easy as a squire because you can afford mistakes and hits and can just follow the knight around without any consequences.

personally I play embalmer for tarot for king or squire because you can place your coffin in a kiteable corner or 2nd story (sacred heart) and kite far away because usually hunters don't bring tp also it can allow the king to be rescued if both squires are down however this is only assuming your king can actually kite lol if they die too fast/can't kite well then embalmer is basically useless

I actually find grave keeper to be really useful for squire. He can body block for long periods of time with the shovel and can take hits for both the king and another squire on half health leading both squires to stay standing for longer which can lead to a win. After that just buy some objects to help out with squire duties.

Overlooked thing about cowboy: You can lasso the enemy king to trip them up example: enemy king is kiting your knight. You see that your knight is struggling. You lasso the enemy king, stopping them. You bring them to the hunter, so they can easily be hit

I always use Doctor or Perfumer as king. I run out of stars as perfumer but as doctor with constantly healing - I earn a lot of stars. I think that you underestimated Gravekeeper as a Squire. My strategy is to use him as a bodyblock, basicly I'm a pain in the butt for the Hunter and the King. When the King is kiting I always make sure that I'm between King and Hunter. Gravekeeper is really OP as a bodyblock because he can get hit FOUR times, not two, because of his digging down ability

Player with the Acrobat, Mike Morton, as King, is so fun, honestly! With a good support team, a win is almost garantized. He is perfect with his bombs at this mode, I honestly abuse of the store and his bombs. Well, at least, I can do a minimun of 180 s kite with him, plus the items. Good point, forgot to mention her. She is a powerful king due to her portals and the fact that they regenerate. Especially in Sacred Heart Hospital, it is almost impossible to catch a Priestess early in a match there. As a squire her portals can be incredibly useful and her unique way of rescuing is also very useful! (The faster healing buff is an added bonus)

I don't know about Seer being an S-tier king, I think he's better off in A-tier because of the debuffs you get from using his owls, which can be detrimental in longer games where both Knights are struggling.

entomologist is a very good squire, I recommend having her on your team if the king is a slow vaulter, or doesnt have anything to help them kite (she's better on vc cause you can tell the king to get on the bees)
