I had walked away and stopped communicating with a Gemini not long ago, because I was in that pattern you spoke of. We weren’t in a relationship but more friends, but I wanted more. She didn’t. But after a week of grieving, I realized that I can still have her in my life as a friend by my detaching from any expectations we’d ever be together, and that way I can open myself up to meeting someone else. So basically it didn’t have to be all or nothing. I just had to set healthy boundaries for myself and be more mindful of self love, and she and I are now on the same page. And I told her that I do believe we came into each other’s lives to teach ourselves about self love. She definitely has childhood trauma, and so do I. I will ALWAYS advocate for walking away when you’re not getting what you need. In fact, that is always the sole message in my readings. Being understanding is important. Empathy is important. But unconditional love does NOT equal unconditional tolerance. So, if we can’t change another person, we have to change ourselves - by setting boundaries, creating distance, or even walking away. I would even argue that this is you being pulled toward breaking the cycle, and you should be SO proud of yourself for choosing to! It’s hard but worth it. Sending so much love and healing💕
