I love that Athena, Kali, and Aphrodite are more larger bodied! We need body inclusion in goddess decks! I would have loved to see them in more body-revealing clothes or nude like the thinner models though. (I am size 25 and I volunteer if there’s an expansion. LOL)

so Vesta the virgin goddess (whose virgin priestesses risking been buried alive if they broke their chastity vow) is a pregnant woman, says a lot about the mythological background & knowledge brought into this deck, I guess

Love that you pointed this out! I am the creator and thought that depicting her with child was perfect to transmit the message of “mother” since her realm is that of family and child rearing and devotion to home. An image of a virgin is far less easy to understand than that of a joyful mother. Regardless of the historical fact. Vesta as a mother figure felt far more nurturing and easy to deduce a message from ☺️

I have this in my Etsy cart and I LOVE the aesthetic of that deck. Now that you’ve had a good couple of months to connect and build a relationship, how has it been? Do you recommend still and any other little tidbits if you have? I love Aphrodite and her card is stunning. While I find the pastels and backgrounds really beautiful (and card backs), I'm a little confused about the images themselves. Some of them (Mami Wati, Isis for example) appear to represent the goddess herself, while others (Maeve in a wheelchair) appear to be humans. I feel they should have gone one direction completely or the other. I love the diversity and inclusion, but am not sure about the poses and confusion above. Thank you for sharing!!

I am the creator of this deck, I’d love to help you understand….Maeve was actually a queen who was considered to have mystical powers and qualities - thus why she is more human, the muses are also humans- they too are represented more with this dynamic….everything within this deck is very well thought out x

I juste don't like that they don't explain anything about the goddesses in the book. I don't know anything about those goddesses so I can't tap into that part of the messages and I have to just rely on intuition and the key words and phrases which are already good. And the quality is great. But just if you make a deck on goddesses, then you should explain those on the book to me... it's just that.

I understand where you’re coming from, here’s a different take on decks that need further research. I feel like taking those extra steps on my own deepens the connection and relationship I have with the cards and I feel it just adds an extra special and personal touch. I bond more especially dealing with goddesses/fallen angels, deity, etc as even if there was a bit more info in this guidebook I’d still recommend researching as each one would need Harry Potter thick books and even then that’s just scratching the surface. :) just a suggested outlook that may help (or not lol. )
