Been watching a few of this guy's things and there's few, if any, who seem more genuine and selfless as Andy here. Always polite, a really patient person, you can tell he's kind and I think he's a really good KZbin role model. Thanks for the great content and very well made videos. Great channel. 10/10

Nothing tastes "delisherer" than food 😋 cooked slowly over a fire in a cast iron pot. We often make potjiekos here in Newcastle in South Africa with oxtail or lamb and sometimes offal. The bliss of sitting around the fire 🔥with a glass of wine 🍷👌 and chatting with friends while the potjie slowly bubbles away. It looks like you both had an awesome time with the fire, food, beer and fireside talk. Then a peaceful sleep 💤. Wishing you many more camping 🏕 adventures. Have fun.

Dumpings made the 'British Way' with beef suet are exceptional for flavor and texture. I purchase the suet through Amazon because few if any, American providers take the pains to meet 'product safety demands.'

Dude, I love your channel and went on a binge watch when I found it. I'm by no means a bushcraft expert, but here is a tip. Camping cookware is normally very thin and burns things easy. You can bring a small metal sheet and pour some sand on top (or dirt, it will dry fast on the fire) as a barrier to better distribute the heat and control the temperature. It basically turns thin cookware into thick pots and pan.

@@tjk355 having to try to hide and not get caught is not exactly ideal and its not just the spending a night outdoors i would enjoy but being able to spend a weekend and cook and enjoy a big fire and build some stuff, practice my bushcraft. None of which can be done unless you have permission to be there, or it is completely free wild land owned by nobody

Great video, keep up the great work. And kudos on proper technique for cutting your logs - your down stroke should always end with the axe blade at the surface of the stump you're using to chop your wood on. I've seen far too many videos here on youtube where the person doing the chopping, swings the axe and instead of ending on the stump, they have the axe blade swinging past their shin.
