Your video put a lump in my throat, it reminded me of when my kids were little. We had a Birch tree in the garden, sadly it blew over in a particular vicious spring storm. The kids were in their element, they spent the whole Summer playing and camping in the tree and refused to let me get rid of it. Twenty years later, the kids have gone and the tree is a pile of bark, but I still have these great memories, thank you so much for reviving them.

Hi Claire, I've been following your channel for about a couple of months now, really getting in to the wild camping scene and as a former soldier, it's great fun to sleep out with out being shot at! We had 5 principles of camouflage when I was serving, it may have changed, but consider, 1: Shape, don't make any flat edges, 2: Shine, don't have anything shiny, reflecting sunlight, 3: Silhouette, don't have bright light behind you, 4: Sudden movement, the 'enemy' will catch a glimpse if you move to quickly, and finally 5:Sound, keep all noise to a minimum.

Accidentally found wildbeare from accidentally finding haze outdoors and they're now my favourite KZbinrs, I enjoyed camping and the outdoor but I lost all motivation to do anything after falling into deep depressed haze and wildbeare saved my life and gave me the motivation to not just camp but get out in the wild

Yes I understand just what all of you mean about being in the woods I live in the country and my job has me working alone all day in the countryside and it is so nice to be able to just go out and hang a hammock and enjoy the woods for a while no matter if it's a couple hours or days. I was stealth camping in a wood on a farm whilst on 5 day trek and I had muntjacs right outside my tent knocking the guylines on the tent and snapping branches. I got no sleep which didn't help the next day having to cover 20+ miles! Love your videos Claire, always so calming and positive, even when your battling the elements!

Hi 👋, amazing, where I live in France, I see a lot of kites Flying around, making a lot of whistling and I whistle back and they come and hover over the top of me, I’ll see muntjac and various other types of deer. pine martens. And wild boar., and some amazing butterflies, I have done a little bit of camping, nothing compared to what you are doing. I’ll find you are amazing , I have written down to Lake Garda on a motorbike and camped at the lake for about 5 days, I’ve been on the mainland looking out towards Venice that was amazing, a huge thunderstorm, not a sort of thing you want to be in a tent at that time, it was horrendous, Camped on the beach at St Tropez, and all you could hear at night time, was the sea rolling in, And I have done some camping at Woolacombe, looking over the bay, that was horrendous I thought some of my friends were messing about, but it wasn’t the storm coming in off. The sea was flattening tense, quite a few people got damaged during the night tents 🏕️ ripped apart. My tent kept hitting me on the face and waking me up., I think you I’ve been going through an amazing adventure. It is great that you’re sharing it with people around the world. , I look forward to seeing some more adventures.
