Your bread look so good!!! :) At 9:23, when you sprayed the water, did you spray water the empty dutch oven first and then placed the dough inside? Or, did you put the cold dough into the dutch oven and then sprayed the cold dough?

I made this loaf before and it was pretty good. Ive noticed my dough seems wetter than yours. Should i add a little more flour or will that mess it up?

What if we don’t have a dutch oven?

While the Dutch Oven is the most ideal baking equipment you can cover the bread after putting it in the oven with a roasting pan or a steel bowl which is much bigger than your loaf. The idea is to cook the bread with steam. If you don't have that as well you can keep a pan while pre heating the oven and when you put the bread on a baking tray put some water in the pan. The steam is what makes the bread rise nicely. I hope that helps!

What starter are u using to make the leavain? Is it a 50-50. All purpose flour- whole wheat starter?

Yes Exactly. It depends really. Sometimes in the summer I only feed it AP Flour because whole wheat can make it ferment too fast but in the winters I use a 50:50 Blend. I think more important than the feed is getting the stage of the starter right. Like it shouldn't smell sour and should be nice and bubbly!

If the cooker is oven safe at high temperatures then you can but make sure it is as you dont want to burn it. Any enclosed vessel which can withstand high temps will work well
