My parents played a lot of Baroque music when I was quite small, and I loved it. I've not heard these Tartini works before. So beautiful. Thank you.

На обложке приведена картина "Чувство слуха"- "The sense of Hearing". 1744-47. Холст, масло. Размер 132,1 × 153,7 см. Находится в Йельском центре британского искусства - Yale Center for British Art. Автор картины французский художник Филипп Мерсье-Philippe Mercier,1689 - 1760, видный представитель раннего рококо, последователь Aнтуана Ватто-Antoine Watteau. У этого художника есть серия из пяти картин на тему аллегории пяти чувств, созданных в 1744-1747 годах: "Зрение"-"The sense of Sight" ; "Обоняние"- "The sense of Smell"; "Вкус"-" The sense of Taste; "Осязание"-" The sense of Touch" и, наконец картина, "Слух" -"The sense of Hearing", которая и изображена на обложке)))

Gesepi tortoni, jewseppi tartitti guhsepee tarteenie....all wonderful alternatives for when it REALLY matters. But Guiseppe is fine. I still know who it is without having a meltdown
