[TAS] Any% City Hall Skip

If you aggro a Stingby and then quickly look away, it will fly towards you the next time you look at it, even if you're outside of its aggro range. This is called Stingby Storage.
I found Stingby Storage, Grady Shoemaker had the idea to implement it in Any%, and I TASed the segment.

Thanks to FT for recording the script on his Switch.
At the moment, it's unknown if this is faster for Any%. This skips the City Hall Lost and Found moon, so another moon is needed. This extra moon could be Hidden in the Scrap, collected between How Do They Take Out the Trash? and Dizzying Heights, it could be the seed moon with manual DSTA, or something else.
NOTE: This TAS was created as a demonstration without using Cappy text, so it will likely desync if used in a real Night Metro run.

What would the day metro route look like to recover for the moon lost from inside city hall

Still being theorized, theres about 5 options heavily theorized: 1. musicians route but with slots. Billding would be skipped entirely. 2. NCSA route but with slots 3. DSNR route where you plant both seeds, do billding and get both seeds, then scoot clip. At end you'd skip slots. 4. regular route with shop implemented 5. regular route but after trash you'd roll cancel vector to scrap moon and then use wires to get atop city hall.

Each of these routes and some more have been being looked into and tases will likely be made for a couple of them to determine which is fastest, as well as how much this skip actually saves. Whether or not NCSA is actually banned will also play a factor in which is fastest, as if manual dsta isnt necessary, then the fastest route would definitely be the btt route but with slots tagged on at the end

The first major one. There’s smaller stuff like getting insane horizontal speed from a shirane bounce and a really fast roll cancel into a forward dive but nothing of this scale. TAS is so early in its life that most routes/strats are based around things people have already done (btt), so keep that in mind. TLDR: yeah the first of this magnitude
