Warriors of Fate is a 2D side-scrolling beat 'em-up and sequel to Dynasty Wars taking place in ancient China. Akkila-orkhan, the dark lord of Shang-Lo, has decided to conquer the neighbouring countries. The wise Kuan-Ti has summoned the five greatest warriors of the lands to stop this from happening.

Missed out on this game until the Callus emulator back in the day, was never fortunate to come across a machine in the wild. I love this game but causally it's over an hour to play, this was pretty entertaining to watch.

In which country was the game developed? The aesthetic is extreme eastern, but evidently not Japan. Korean maybe? Vietnamese?

Developed by Capcom (obviously Japan), but the setting of the game is in Ancient China (three kingdoms)

@@Contevent because I believe this is arcade ROM of Warriors of Fate for elsewhere in the world except mentioned countries at warning screen at the beginning. This is pretty common in every CPS arcade games with different region releases. In Japan, this game is called Tenchi wa Kurao, adapted from comic book/manga, while in English version (this Warriors of Fate), all references to Three Kingdoms were minimized or omitted entirely.

Meanwhile I have been fascinated with the series since I got the nes game and never had a clue that the comic book author was controversial.

Kill him: After defeating Cao Cao, Liu Bei would congratulate one of his brothers-in-arms and celebrate their victory. Furthermore, his army, forming the Shu Kingdom, would conquer the Wei Kingdom and unite with the Wu Kingdom to regain love and peace around China. Running out of time: Cao Cao would flee by jumping into the waterfall and returning to his Kingdom. He would later prepare a lot of armies to defeat Liu Bei's and conquer his territory. The five brothers-in-arms would be defeated and captured by Cao Cao's armies, and Liu Bei's army would result in the defunct. Spare him: By sparing him, Cao Cao would remember Liu Bei's brothers-in-arms. However, he wouldn't prepare his armies to conquer Liu Bei's territory. Therefore, the Shu, Wei and Wu Kingdoms would be together in China, becoming when the era of the Three Kingdoms started. The era peace would have started again, but it might not last that long.
