[TAS] Art of Fighting 2 - King

Alright, this game was a terrible experience to TAS. Heavy amount of Move Reading (Input Reads), BS Final Boss, and the game can crash or freeze at certain moments in matches. It happened to me multiple times fighting Mr. Big.

This game is awesome: the backgrounds, the history, the animation, the char design, the special moves... With so many remarkable features, It's incredible that SF2 was the number one fighting game at the time.

This game is hard as hell but I remember how ingenious it was when it first came out in the arcades. Still one of the best designed fighting games ever...even if it made me wish death on the devs when playing it on level 6. LOL!

The creator of Street Fighter made this game. Nishimura. In that sense, you can't call it a true 'knock off' any more than you can say Bloodstained is a 'knockoff' of Castlevania or Tearring Saga is a knockoff of Fire Emblem or Bayonetta is a knockoff of Devil May Cry. That said, the games play and look much differently. Also, more importantly, Art of Fighting introduced fighting game mechanics that other fighting games including Street Fighter, would copy; such as super moves, dashing, cancels, and scrolling. And SNK's first fighting game, Street Smart, introduced juggle mechanics which Street Fighter copied later in SF II Turbo

Every 2d fg made after SF is a kind of knock off... And the same for 3d fg's for Vf. And the same for any game made after a major invention with a genre defining quality. In platformer, beat em up, shooter, strategy, RPG, etc... Everything had a beginning in a single invention. And that goes on infinitely, beyond games, for any creation.
