almostmatt1 here writing this comment. This demo is an edit of 4shocks cballx103.lmp demo with an edited map 4 that saves a second. I don’t know how long ago I did this but I think it’s been sitting on my computer for a couple of years now.
Map 06 was also edited a little so it’s a bit faster in frames but not by a second, and Map 03 was also edited to alter RNG for Map 04. This is mostly still shocks work, and since that’s the case I’ve included below their comments for cballx103.lmp.

THIS IS A TOOLS-ASSISTED DEMO
Mostly doing this for the following reasons: death slide exit on map 1 (discovered by vita awhile back, I redid it a bit slower but 2s anyway), and the void glide I found on map 4. Everything else is faster by tics, but I couldn't find any path to more speed. :) Overall, I expect the only way to see myself improving this further is if someone figures out a way to get 2s on map 1 without the death slide.
Map 01 (2.91): I still have some hope that you can do 2s without death sliding, but tbh, you might need to bruteforce the entire first room :P. Nothing in the second area has any chance of being faster IMO.
Map 02 (8.89): It seemed like I hit the jackpot on RNG in my last run, although I said I had to do some manipulation; here I could barely do anything with the manipulation, largely due to the forced weapon switch and no plasma. I do a shit ton of wallrunning here and faster diagonal run than my last run, but in the end only two tics faster because it was difficult enough just getting past the first cyb. Happy I managed to get through this one in 8s at all tbh.
Map 03: (30.37): Nothing, the level, literally. One tic from boosting on last lift, but just try finding any time save here. :P You'd need a completely new trick.
Map 04 (5.11): Fun void glide. You get started in the wall here, so eventually I tried just rocketing out, and it works! But there is no health from map 3, which loses a bit of time (could not lose all the health on 3, but the time save here wouldn't be worth it I think), so I have to get the invuln, which I can thankfully line skip to. Ugly time, but I have no other ideas here; ideally you wouldn't auto-switch, and that would be possible with a no death slide map 1, since you'd have PG, but I couldn't find a way for that. That would be the main remaining potential time save in this run overall. Otherwise, I don't really see options here; you need some time for getting the boost, so you can't rocket yourself before going into the autoswitch. The boost you get out is huge, so you need a lot of time to redirect movement to the exit, and I already rocket a bit there. There's a bit of a thing to note about the exit doors; while they don't block you completely, they do somewhat block you outside, and less blocking the further away you are. Here, I get through right next to them fast, which is quite nice. Ideally, you'd get to the exit from the other side since that's where you can press it, but that side has the start room and is generally slower. I'm mostly interested in showing the trick anyway, so I'm okay with the slowness. If anyone wants to try the IL here (with cyber rocket), when you enter the tele, you can't move too fast; you can get forward movement upon teleporting which takes you out of the corner and prevents the void glide.
Map 05 (1.57): Another wallrun for 1 tic time save, otherwise no way here for 0 unless you can warp through the door. :P
Map 06 (17.74): Did some RJs, didn't save a ton of time, but happy enough with some improvement. I didn't RJ from the first lift I lower to the center, but that doesn't really save time; you need to wait for the floor to lower to the key, and if anything, it makes the movement there way more awkward. I guess you could take a wider turn that way, but eh, I'm too lazy to optimize it now.
