Like many Castlevania games, Portrait of Ruin has extra alternate play modes available after completing the primary quest. In this case, you get to play as the Old Axe Armor, a character unlocked after defeating 1000 old axe armors in the main game mode.
mtbRc ( tasvideos.org/... ) defeats Dracula in this mode in record time.

In this video, a VERY confused animated suit of armor frantically swings its axe around in a castle, knocking pieces of furniture, food, and living creatures about while attempting to figure out where it is. Eventually, after waking up from a blackout episode, it finds itself standing in front of a dying Dracula, unaware and just as confused as before as to where it is.

IGA hates dash cancelling so much I'm surprised he didn't allow Miriam to run in Bloodstained. Nathan's running imput in Circle of the Moon is clunky because it's a very early GBA title but his movement speed is actually both dynamic and super comfy to play with once you plug in a controller.

Apparently the older version of Maria is inside the armor, which is why Astarte can't mind control her. Also she has a really deep voice in this armor for some reason. Side note, where the fuck was the hint on how to unlock this in game? Like, who the fuck was actually going to go into the arena and fight this one room of old axe armors over and over again by accident?

Story in a nutshell: Jonathan was out sick, so they gave Michael Jackson a suit of armor and an axe and sent him off to slay Dracula. Some say you can still hear him moonwalking through the halls of the castle, if your brave enough to go there and lucky enough to not get moonwalked to death.
