TAS = Tool Assisted Speedrun, the inputs are put frame by frame with a program, it's not a person playing but a person made the bot do this

I did managed to beat F-Zero X 100%, but Master/Staff records are a total NIGHTMARE every time to the point I stay away from them. Still, incredible moves right here!

No, not at all. It's so much more easy than F zero GX in my point of view. But I admit, Railsides, turn by using side attack, boosting while sliding... Those small but very effective things are necessary to win master. Also on which part of the track do I need to boost and pass many machines and where can I spare boost

@@OmegaVideoGameGod that's true! Especially if you wanna gain real speed run expert level in both games. But considering the additional almost necessary capability of momentum turbo or momentum turbo slide and rail slide momentum throttling (letting go A / gas) and the difficulty steering the different machines in f zero GX plus the story mode, it makes it a mich harder game in my point of few. There are only few machines I can steer... Which doesn't mean that I can best master mode with them

Hi, I struggle to find a proper way to configure my xbox 360 controller to match the n64 stick. It's way to sensitive and has no deadzone. What controller do you use with the emulator and what are your recommended settings? cheers and thx for the tutorials!

I use the adaptoid usb to N64 controller cable. Nowadays, the official Adaptoid cables can be rare and expensive but it's the only one I know that has the correct control stick settings with sensitivity and deadzone. I've tried a few others (raphnet, mayflash) but they are all bad. Some emulators support the adaptoid controller plugin if you have it, that one is perfect. Otherwise N-Rage control stick 66% deadzone 0% with adaptoid. It depends on your adapter/controller what settings are correct. I have also heard good things about the bliss box (universal controller - usb adapter) but haven't tried myself.

I haven't really played GX in years and I am by no means an expert at it. The mechanics are completely different from F-Zero X so it's something for other players to take on.
