That's the weakness of the GBA. No sound processor, so any sound and music has to entirely be on the GBA's CPU.

@@XanthinZarda that's no excuse, there are some rocking soundtracks on the GBA. Pokémon, the Sonic Advance trilogy, Yoshi's Island (though recycled from Snes, GBA is still capable of making it sound super good), even f*ing Beyblades. X,D

The soundtrack does its job. Not up to DKC standards but it's serviceable. I say it's the terrible gameplay that makes the game boring.
