Wario Land II was the last first-party title made for the Game Boy, and was later re-released for the Game Boy Color to take advantage of the new hardware. Wario's nemesis, Captain Syrup, and her Black Sugar Gang (formerly the Brown Sugar Pirates) invade his castle and steal his precious treasure. Outraged, Wario races across the land to defeat Captain Syrup and take back the treasure.
This run beats the game with 100% completion: collecting all treasures, completing the picture panel and completing the extra time attack stage (the Really Final Chapter).

Although the TAS finishes the game quickly, it sure gave players their money's worth at the time.

Any game, old or new, that has a TAS 100% completion speed of 90 minutes and more, variety in gameplay/levels and cool collectibles is a grand game in my book. (e.g. Oracle of Ages/Seasons)

Wario Land 1 is a game in which you can take damage. Wario Land 2 is a game in which you _are_ the damage.

Wario land 3 is where you can only die at the last boss Wario land 4 is where you can take damage & save a catgirl.

I'll never forget the first time I ever cleared this game completely. I felt accomplished... but I wanted to do it again so I deleted all my data and started over. I also find it funny on my *very first playthrough* I went through the optional route first by total mistake because I thought Wario sleeping was still part of the cutscene.

Man this is so nostalgic, the "Land" games were my chilhood from Mario land 1 to Wario land 4 on the gba, remember having a screenshot I found online of the first boss with wario as my pc wallpaper for months
