Heh... Yeah, it's quite useful for TAS; it can give you temporary invincibility after attacking an enemy (except bosses), even traps and some bullets, and bosses that are vulnerable to it can receive up to 4 HP of damage per 10 frames, which is way faster than using their weaknesses.

This hack has so many obstacles that needs to be climbed up to save time, reduce lag and reduce work. Take the Air man or Kamen Rider levels for instance.

1.- Re-record count: 74531 2.- Frame count (on the last input done in the fight with Dr. Light): 98458 frames. - Frame count (on last input in the ending sequence with Quick Man): 111539 frames. 3.- I thought so when I first published this, but it really isn't. I've found new tricks and a few ways to improve this run. (they are minor, but everything counts in TAS) But I'm not in the mood for updating this one anytime soon. I was about to upload a 100% run, but I found a bug in the intro stage that saves at least 2-4 seconds or so IIRC; so I have to do it again from the start. And I don't want to do it right now.

How did you get Instant Floor at the start?

As far as I remember, you start with everything at the beginning of the game ("item 1-3"), except the weapons, evidently. Yeah, it's kinda odd that there's a screen telling you that you got an item you already had. But it kinda makes sense, since anyone who chooses to tackle Cheat Man first for whatever reason won't be able to beat the stage without instant floor.

You can't proceed until the background stops moving. But if you look closely, Mega Man dashes to the right when he's about to transition to the next screen, but he still doesn't move on until a few moments later.
