Super Dodge Ball is an NES that portrays dodgeball as an extreme international sport. Travel the world with your chosen team to places such as Iceland, China, and the Soviet Union as you knock the souls out of the opposing team with your special throwing skills. But do be careful of losing the game and your soul in return.
ShesChardcore ( tasvideos.org/... ) improves on Dasrik ( tasvideos.org/... )'s previous run by around 20 seconds with the use of better strategies and lots of AI manipulation.
Fun Fact: This game features the second appearance of Kunio-kun, years before he would appear in River City Ransom and River City Girls Zero. Unfortunately, he was removed in the overseas version of the game, which is played here.

Gosh what a nostalgia trip. I met this game along with some other Kunio Kun games from a bootleg NES cartridge like 20 years ago. The whole thing was in japanese but me and my brothers still managed to clear most of them. I think we were Japan and the last enemy was US in that version lol. Interesting. Also the "battle royale" mode was insane haha

They did in fact change the order of the teams when localizing the game. Japan has the US as a final boss, while the US has the USSR

As a lil kid, i played this game endlessly. I even though people from Iceland looked like that. Glad I chose intelligence over stereotyping shortly thereafter. Can anyone tho, in all seriousness, tell me what is up with the background portrait on the China stage? 2:10

The eyes are cut off by the top of the screen. It's a big portrait of Mao Zedong, whose face was required by law to be displayed pretty much everywhere in China (and I'm sure it still is).
