Pokémon: Ruby ( tasvideos.org/... ), Sapphire and Emerald form the third generation of Pokémon, after Pokémon: Gold ( tasvideos.org/... ) and Silver ( tasvideos.org/... ). Noticeable differences include the graphics and interface, Pokémon abilities, and running shoes that allow the player to move around much faster in the overworld before getting the bike.
In this movie, GoddessMaria ( tasvideos.org/... ) applies her experience with TASing the game's alternate modes to a full run, finishing in under an hour and twenty minutes using lots of luck manipulation. At some point, her trainer gets fed up with all these slow battles, flies to the end, and storms the Elite Four throwing bad eggs at anyone who wants a fight.

Note: To play the vbm, you need to have Real Time Clock on and Flash 128k as the Save Type. Real Time Clock is for sync, while Flash 128k is to prevent the game from displaying a white screen.

It just checks for Winona's because every other badge in the game is needed. Sootopolis is needed for Waterfall normally, Mossdeep is needed to reach Sootopolis, Petalburg is needed for Surf, and the first four are needed for Petalburg's.

For those who were wondering for the Evergrande City Fly flag at 1:08:16 : "Pomeg data corruption glitch may rarely set the Fly flag that allows the player to Fly to Evergrande City (where the entrance to Victory Road is and not outside of the Pokémon League) if the player hasn't unlocked it already."

It's really hard to appreciate how obscenely rare this occurrence is. The fight is scripted, so Zigzagoon will always tackle twice (0% crit rate) then Wally will throw a ball at it. However, under perfect conditions, the ralts can die to the second tackle. Not only does the wild ralts have to have terrible IVs , the Zagzagoon has to have amazing IVs and nature. Even then, attacks can do variable damage based on RNG, so tackle has to RNG to nearly the highest damage possible, TWICE. All in all, the chances of this happening naturally is rarer than the Ralts being shiny.

So I've read that choosing May is faster than choosing Brendan. How is this a time save? After all, wouldn't the game showing BRENDAN take more time than showing MAY. Where does the timesave occur?

They’re just outside Fortree City in Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, Omega Ruby, and Alpha Sapphire. You go west in a straight line when you’re outside of Fortree. Continue until you find a patch of berries. Those are Pomeg Berries.
