Wario has taken over the forest and it is up to Toad to defeat all of his monsters in huge tree trunks, caves and castles to save the day!
This is like Yoshi's Cookie and Tetris Attack ( tasvideos.org/... ) all in one game. Your goal is to match lines of two or more monsters with bombs of corresponding color until you have cleared the screen. "Round Mode" is the game's story mode, consisting of 99 stages with cutscenes of Toad moving through the overworld map.
PoochyEXE ( tasvideos.org/... ) manipulates the game's RNG so thoroughly that the stages barely even look like puzzles anymore, and completes the game in record time.

The fact that the run was so fast not only did Wario NOT appear, but the music only looped once 13 times and the meter for him to appear NEVER was more than 1/4th filled. Very impressive.

Incredibly technically impressive run. All the possible timesaves I thought I noticed were actually explained in the author's notes as being important luck manipulation. Great work!

Fun fact: There were actually a few _more_ time saves I tested and rejected due to losing time on subsequent luck manipulation, which I didn't bother to mention in my author's notes. Probably the most noticeable is 1:07 -- I could save just under a second by luck-manipulating the yellow diamond into a position where it wouldn't spawn another diamond. But that put the RNG into a state where I lost even more time on rounds 9 and 10.

I can confidently say that the SNES are different to the ones on the NES, i've been stuck at Round 75 for like a year already and i know the levels out of memory already... imagine having this luck irl lol Edit: I'm playing in game A.

日本版と違いますね、こっちの方が色は綺麗ですしマイコニとヒュウードの色が多彩です。この2ひきは日本版だと赤と青の二色しかいませんしそれにダイヤが持つことが出来ません。海外版が出来る機会があったらやってみたいです。

Why doespausing it make a diamond appear?

Clearing a line of 5 or more objects at once is what makes a diamond appear. I briefly pause before the diamond actually spawns to manipulate RNG and make the diamond appear in the position and color I want.
