Astérix: The Gallic War is a light-hearted action-strategy hybrid game featuring the popular Asterix comic book characters. You play as Asterix, Obelix and the rest of the Celtic Gaul army as they war with the Romans, led by Caesar, who have seized all but one territory from the Gaul Empire. After gathering your army, you must capture lands adjacent to yours by either clearing a platforming segment, a mini-game like throwing a Roman as far as possible or combat sequences.

That roman throwing mini game is one of the worst games I ever played, never managed to figure it out.

@@giuliostefanocascone181 The best advice I can give is play on an emulator and constantly use save states to be able to retry often. I still miss the two throwing levels on my map.

Roman bowling is FAAAR worse imo, can never get it right unless I put a ton on the line and get like half a minute extra time.

When you are on the map, the game is a "Turn-based strategy" : You attack and then the Romans do it too. So, this is the funniest thing about this TAS : Romans never "play" on the map 😂. I had this game and I'm glad to see this game broken like this 😆

Impressive! However, wesen lost some time at 9:02. You only need to pick 1 potion to beat French Alps, not 6 potions since you don't kill any enemy. It's a few frames lost, but still.
