Disney's 102 Dalmatians: Puppies to the Rescue is a video game loosely based on the live action movie 102 Dalmatians. It follows the perspective of Domino and Oddball, who find out their family has been captured whilst they were out in the park. It is up to them to rescue them and defeat Cruella de Vil.
Avouca ( tasvideos.org/... ) and passere ( tasvideos.org/... ) improve the previous movie ( tasvideos.org/... ) by 49.74 seconds, thanks in major part to better optimisation as well as new out-of-bounds tricks in several stages. Yes, one of the few games I played in my childhood (never finished it though, yet I've seen the walkthrough once and it's always fun to come back to). So seeing a theoretical perfect speedrun or Tool Assisted Speedrun of this game is awesome. I wonder how this person beats the game in 17 minutes flat.

My favorite part of 102 Dalmations was when the dalmatians Spindashed into Cruella and she demoted her artist boyfriend to Scrub Monkey, Third Class

I'm convinced more time was spent on loading screens than in-game

To me, most of the time was spent rolling and jumping, not just loading screens.

Yeah, this was released in 2000 mind you, near the end of the PS1's life and the beginning of the PS2's life (up until that ended in 2008). Believe it or not, you can play this game on a PS2 as you would on a PS1...Hence why the Playstation 2 is my favorite console of all time. Huge game library, movies and music you can play on it, and animated save icons to copy and look at. And the system menu, iconic, brillant, and mesmerizing. Not even the PS3's menu can hold a candle to the simplistic PS2 system menu. For the PS1 one, well, it's pretty standard menu stuff, but not the PS2 though....
