For any King of Fighters fans wondering why Rick Stroud's moveset is extremely similar to Vanessa's, that's because Vanessa indeed stole Rick's moveset albeit including her own versions of a couple moves. Considering KOF in general is supposed to be a showcase of all of SNK's IPs, it's a real damn shame they couldn't fit Rick in and just created a new character in order to retroactively put Rick's moveset in.

Rick é um grande boxeador nato. Esse cara bem que merecia uma chance nos outros games de luta da SNK como o KOF por exemplo. No meu ver foi dele que surgiu a Vanessa no KOF por ela ter praticamente os mesmos ataques. Esse cara tem um cenário incrível e uma música sensacional.

Amigo, esse ficou fera! que estilo esse do Rick, eu jogava com ele nos anos 90, pena que é praticamente impossível ele voltar em algum KOF, mas sem problema, afinal tem a Vanessa hehehe, e essa música do estágio dele encaixou perfeitamente com o cenário

Gameplay lindo, cara ✌ O Rick é um personagem que sempre me inspirou muita força, determinação e até uma certa espiritualidade (na história, o fato dele receber um "chamado do vento" para mudar de vida e seguir seus sonhos). Mais uma vez, o tema dele é de longe uma das joias da SNK. Poucas vezes um tema encaixou tão bem em um char como aconteceu com ele.

The NeoGeo CD release of this game is unusually good, like completely OK loading times (especially with the Neo Geo CDZ) you get the arranged music and little to no animation cuts. Usually the loading times are a Dealbreaker with the NeoCD...

Rick is more like Heavy D than Vanessa. Heavy and Rick's play style are about turning mid range pokes into short but high damage combos, Vanessa is all combos and is rather weak if she doesn't have multiple super bars to extend her combos with. Even in their animations Rick's attacks are mostly crosses and jabs while Vanessa's are mostly hooks and uppers. Now that she doesn't have Hellion anymore all they really have in common are the back dash and command dodge. They could be in the same game and feel entirely different, we already had the much less interesting Nelson in XIV.

Era para ele ir para o KoF , mas então tiveram a ideia de criar a Vanessa, para substitui-lo. Os fãs não gostaram muito dele, tanto que alguns golpes foram para a Vanessa.

TAS quer dizer "tool assisted play" (jogo auxiliado por ferramentas). Ou seja, o cara usa várias ferramentas do emulador pra explorar o jogo, tipo salvar a cada luta, voltar quadros, etc. Ainda um pouco de habilidade e criatividade, mas mesmo assim ainda é TAS.

Hello Everyone I'm Specter Prime and from looking at this Ultimate Player TAS Video On Rick Strowd from Fatal Fury Series I would say Like I said before I respect Boxing knowing it is my favorite Combat Sport that has been around like forever and I also respect these old time legends that use to be in the Boxing business and I'm talking about I respect Muhammad Ali, George Foreman, Mike Tyson, Joe Frazier, Floyd Mayweather Sr & Jr, Ricardo Lopez, & Joe Louis, and last but not least I also respect my Dad he use to be a Boxer and he got to fight this annoying Boxer that went by the name of Golden Glove now that guy was something like Bill Cosby talking while boxing and this Golden Glove he was sure dum enough to show off in the boxing ring long enough for Dad to send his sorry but flying knowing it was supposed to be a fundraiser match up but this Golden Glove had really insulated my Dad that much and my Dad made an honest man out of him he knock him with an Uppercut and this is a mess up I ever heard that Golden Glove and his man had sexual assault an old women hours after his and my Dad boxing match up and he got away with it he can smile all he wants but everyone knows what he has done and when a lot of years had pass I heard that man Golden Glove has pass away a few years ago and my Dad & everyone are glad he pass away but anyhow this Ultimate Player TAS Person should think about adding & playing this game & character and I'm talking about Oro Story Mode from Street Fighter Series or even Jin Fu-Ha from Art of Fighting Series at least and I give this Ultimate Player TAS Video On Rick Strowd from Fatal Fury Series good thumbs up and good credits & points 👍👍✌✌👏👏🥊 and that is it for now and some of you Fans & Players & People would have to at least agree with me on that one on this Ultimate Player TAS Video On Rick Strowd from Fatal Fury Series & Oro from Street Fighter Series Story Mode or Jin Fu-Ha from Art of Fighting Series Idea's at least.!?¡¿ ♤♡♧◇€£₩¥☆ 🎮🕹💞👍👍✌✌👏👏😎🕵️‍♂️🕵️‍♀️🥊💀🏎🏍🚔🚖🚘🎭⌛⏳🌙🙊🙉🙈

Awesome dudes & dudettes now this dude became one of my favorite game characters this: [Rick Strowd] dude is one of hard hitting Boxers in Fatal Fury Series and his fighting style should have been both Out-Boxing & Bare-Knuckle Boxing With Orthodox Stance since he fights without the Boxing Gloves and it looks more like he is fighting in Out-Boxing & Bare-Knuckle Boxing With Orthodox Stance but wish this dude was in the New King Of Fighters Games as a DLC Character dude now that would be awesome if the Company least think about it would totally sell big time and if not then maybe as a SNK Heroines Tag Team Frenzy as a DLC Character to see the funny look on his face to react of himself that way and the company of that it be awesome should least added more New Characters in the game if that can be arranged by them as much I want to see both: [Rick Strowd & Shen Woo] make a good come back in the New King Of Fighters Games as a DLC Dudes Characters now that would be awesome in any other ways don't you think so dudes & dudettes.!?¡¿ ♤♡♧◇€£₩¥☆
