Good video. I have this machine. I don't speak deutsch but I wondered why you switched the cables on 2 channels when playing test tone. Also your tone levels on LED were all different. Shouldn't the levels all show equal on the LEDs if the levels the same recorded level? Thanks! 👍

Hello, I mentioned this issue in the Video. Different levels are the result of discalibration. As I said in lag of a calibration tape I couldnt maintain the play/rec cards.

@@Synth-Hunter-Germany I have this 238. My calibration pots on the cards are all identical setting (line up with writing on the adjustment head) Are yours all in different positions? Factory setting shouldn't change unless the head was removed or somebody turned the pots alot of times before you owned the machine. Sometimes you need to adjust the 'meter' setting very little so the LED is equal on all channels but otherwise you should be able to hear with headphones if the sound is acceptable. Calibration tapes are sometimes not authentic so it's difficult that way.
