I kept my eye on Amazon and I checked Amazon the last time and it had six so I hurry up and pick one up. Luckily I had the money when it became available and I got Amazon prime so I got it overnight

So I assume you can't track in the traditional overdubbing style of multi tracking like a old school hard disk recorder

Hey, no you assumed wrong! Only kidding, Tascam bridge is like a 24 track tape recorder except it converts the audio to digital and records to an sd card instead of tape. You can overdub but you need a mixer for monitoring and routing etc.

You're absolutely right my friend. And that's why I like this unit so much because it's exactly how we used to record back in the days before computers. But we use ADATs or open face 24 track Reel to Reels.
