The angry stares she gets is crazy. Street performance is one of the most fluid, personal and real presentations of music there is, yet people are so insulted, angry and off guard by it. Sad.
@irvwayshort95667 жыл бұрын
I think its mainly because of what she said in the beginning. People have this generic idea that buskers are semi-homeless, dirty, broke bums. You could have talent by the boatloads but for the most part, people are embarrassed and uncomfortable to be seen stopping to admire a bum. There insecurities completely drown out their ability to take notice of something completely pure and beautiful. Its sad to see so many numb humans.
@Beeyourself3217 жыл бұрын
Yes! I am no where near in the realm of talent that Tash is in, but I have experienced a lot of disgust and resentment projected towards me while busking. Simply because I am " too f**king loud", or another countless list of fear-invoked reasons. I'm not asking everyone to give me money, everyone is in their right to like or dislike my music taste/ voice etc. But I think as a whole, buskers should be treated with more respect. Because a vast majority of us are not "on the streets" out of desperation, we are doing this for the love of music, to connect with other people, and to use our music to influence people's lives positively. :)

kdt she can draw a crowd which clearly shows she, at the very least, interests a fair amount of people. those who cannot appreciate things for the values they contain (any everything contains value, even things people consider bad) and feel the need to literally take a moment out of their day to tell her to be quiet when they can just keep walking or go home as well, they are ignorant. people have a right to what they like and dislike, and to voice those opinions, but that does not mean those they express those views to are suddenly immune to repercussions. it’s an equal and opposite reaction situation here. someone tells you to shut: you get louder. edit: spelling
