Before anyone bashes Nicki Minaj for making a Gospel song with Tasha Cobbs, allow me to be the first to defend her. Psalm 150:6 says, "Let EVERY THING that has breath praise the LORD...", this includes Nicki Minaj-or do we, as Christians, feel that Nicki hasn't "earned" the right to praise God? The truth is: We don't know Nicki's story. We don't know the difficulties she's currently facing nor the obstacles she's had to overcome. But Jesus loves Nicki just as much as He loves you and I; hence the phrase, "For God so loved THE WORLD..." (John 3:16). So let's not pass any judgement, for the ground is level at the foot of the cross, and just celebrate the fact that she's glorifying God... Amen? God bless.
