If her son is in Mali it isnt far fetched that he speaks several languages. Many communities jn the world are multilingual due to an amalgamation of cultures and ethnic groups especially in the capital cities, plus France is the official language as the colony so i believe the child speaks two of the local languages plus French and English from his parents. Im just saying that part is believable
