My father passed away at the age of 39. I am 14. I have struggled so much with his passing. Not understanding any of it. But I have realized the blessing God has done in my life. His passing was to remove his suffering of this world. His suffering from that horrid word. Cancer. Lung Cancer. He fought for a year. He was tired of fighting, his body couldn’t handle it anymore. The lord saved him from death twice before his passing. Once his widow makers heart attack and then when he was clinically dead from fluid around the heart and lung. He was struggling. God blessed me with him and memories. I miss him so much. But gods plan is better than mine. Amen. Thank all you guys for the prayers and support. It means alot to me and my family.

I am new to this song but I have been listening constantly since I first heard it less than a month ago. I was at the gym and feeling low and this song popped up on my feed after listening to Aretha Franklin gospel songs. I needed this soooo much as I need to be delivered. I am my own worst enemy and overthink every situation every single day of my life. I survived being verbally abused from a very young age by my mother up until well 8nto my adult age. Her explanation was that I looked so much like my dad that she almost hated me because she didn't like him. Well in 2014 my mom passed away from pancreatic cancer and I watched her die a slow and painful death. I held her hand and told her that I loved her and that I forgave her for everything. I was a police officer at the time but buckled and fell to my knees like a child when she passed and the pain was almost unbearable. This song is my go .
