He is very blessed to have caught her and not someone who would have corrected him on the spot. Dorinda, Kim, Leandria... one of them would have gotten with him.

I bet you that sound man would have never done this to Beyonce or any secular artist.

That part, but probably cuz the pay was different and respect as well. We gotta be careful how we treat those that we think don’t matter

Meh church folk will be church folk. Sounds like a lot of problems were going on with the sound anyway (usually it’s trying to balance the very loud band and their personal equipment). The time it took him to turn on the talkback mic he could have just went on and put a thumbs up or something. It wasn’t worth being rude. I’m pretty sure the soundman is probably the same person since 1997 and think he know everything and losing it because hes being asked to turn up the tenors which sounds like it wasn’t the first time they asked. Lol

Even if that was the case - there’s STILL no reason for rudeness. She’s a nationally recognized award winning artist and his $2 training showed exactly WHYYYY artists are reluctant to come to local edifices any longer. It’s less headache when you can go to the arena and be insured that this level of foolery doesn’t occur. It’s embarrassing for the artists, the church and really for the person who has to admit he genuinely doesn’t know what crap he’s doing!! Whoever he is - I’m sure that was his last event ANNNND Sunday as a member of the media ministry. #Sad #DoBetter #BeBetter #ServicemeansTOSERVE #

If you are simging with a group, every voice matters. She was in her right to notify the sound tech that the tenor mike wasn't working.

Sorry to say when booking some venues it's not in their budget to pay for the artist and their team. So they negotiate, i.e., Just the artist and we'll provide the band and sound and lights.... not her fault, I'm sure.
