This song made me think of an affirmation. I am not an addict Im an adoptive child of God. I am free from notions that place a negative outlook and free to serve my neglected emotions that make me feel unhappy. I adapt. I feel what negative energies affect me and love them from their lessons. I no longer hold notions of negativity as negative, but rather accept them and love them for what they taught and made meaningful to me. I grow from these deep roots and shake off the withered leaves of despair and grow anew set of wings to soar and fly into my highest. I obtain. I receive openly the gifts from my experiences that set me through first tribulations to mold me into a stronger and wiser being. I appreciate and love every inch of my withered and fallen leaves, but allow them to create a layer of protection for my new and profoundly deeper roots to myself. Love conquers all. Amen.

I was woofing in the jungles of Maui when someone pulled me to the side and said I needed to hear this. We sat under a low tree as this womans voice stepped into my heart as tho she lived there. I was facing addiction, sorrow, little money and few people I could trust and for a while I couldnt even enjoy the beauty around me, I felt nothing, but when I listened to this I was deeply moved. I continued to listen and sat with the ocean and tash over many days. I cried before the moon and the sun and I'm thankful I have made it through.

In december 2018 my mom passed away from a pulmonary embolism. this was her favorite song. she used to put it on in the car every day. we would listen to it all the time along with all of your other music. she really put me on. she was planning on going to one of your concerts. she told me about it 2 days before she died. she asked me to go with her because nobody else wanted to and i gladly accepted because i knew it would make her happy. she loved your music and you changed the way she perceived sound. thank you for making this beautiful music. every time i play it, it takes me back to those times me and my mom were in the car just chillin and listening, and i feel her around me throughout the whole song, knowing she’s watching over me. i love you. rest in piece brandi shasta costa and baby costa.

[Verse 1] I hear the birds when they're singing I hear the sirens when they're ringing But I can't take my mind off of you A thousand words pour out of my mouth Distance over depth is proven unannounced Is it real? Cause I don't feel alright [Chorus] I got this notion In the deepest ocean Calling out my name Screaming out in vain Singing hallelujah [Verse 2] Tell your mother she don't understand Tell your mother she's not listening Why don't you tie my heart with chains made of string I rolled the dice You sealed the deal That don't matter The pain is real I won't follow you Into the dark [Chorus] I got this notion In the deepest ocean Calling out my name Screaming out in vain Singing hallelujah These notions Hmm, in the deepest as ocean Calling out my name Screaming out in vain Singing hallelujah [Outro] Singing hallelujah to you Calling out my name I'm in the deepest ocean Calling out my name Singing hallelujah to you

Every now and then you find someone who has realised that magic truly exists... it's just that most people call it music. Music is magical and Tash you are a magician beyond many musicians. You didn't just learn to play with your brain. Every cell in your body is playing feeling and living that music and when you live it we live it. Thank you for the gift you are. Coming from respect... you are totally my new girl crush :) I wanna live in that world you create with sound :)
What a truly lovely comment Gabrielle - made my day. I agree 100% :-)

I listen to this song a lot. And 100% honest, every single time I listen to this song I am so entranced. I get completely absorbed by this song, wow. If music could transport you to other dimensions, this one is there, and like a magnet it pulls. Much Love for all that you do Tash. Also, I have to say that I enjoy the Live version more compared to the album version.

I saw a video of this person playing a guitar on a street corner. I assumed I would hear the same sort of thing I have heard from a hundred street performers, so I passed it by several times. I was just at her concert in London and it was AMAZING and also attracted a beautiful crowd of souls mainly her age group but WOW! all so lovely and conscious to talk too, the new adult generations have come to clear the trauma of the Ancestral Timelines and Tash's music speaks to their souls from other planets, times and dimensions.....very powerful and also when she spoke and dealt with someone whom threw a plastic bottle on the stage, her grace in that but her firm boundaries and honesty spoke with a emotional intelligence...truly a very twinkly soul from the cosmos in a human body xxx

Now me 4 years later seeing this song performed live in Wolverhampton, UK 🙏 THANK YOU TASH! You are amazing - You definitely 1000% make this world a better place through your music!!!

On the summer of 2019 my grandfather got admitted into ICU due to multiple organ failures. The doctor told my family that he may not make it and asked us to prepare for the worst. My mother called me about this when I was at school having fun with my friends. Once I got onto the school bus, I just told my sister to sit beside me and let me cry without anyone noticing. For some reason I chose this song so accompany my sorrow. There's just something about this song that made me feel like someone is patting my back and telling me everything will be okay. Ever since that day this song has a permanent spot in my heart and still remains one of the best songs I have ever heard in my life.

I know these aren't perfect but it's what I like to "sing" along to when listening to this amazing work of art. Lyrics: I hear the birds, when they're singin I hear the sound and the rhythm but I couldn't take my mind off of you thousand worlds, ooh the distance over there it's moving on and on, in her ear you said it'd be alright How about these notions? [hmm] some deep as oceans callin out my name screaming out in vain singing out loud tell your lover, she don't understand tell your lover, she nah unnerstan na word why don't you tear my heart 'ta ches' by the strings? how bout the dice? know you the deal oh-oh my darlin this pain will follow you oh ...singing... How about these notions? [hmm] some deep as oceans callin out my name screaming out in vain singing out loud how bout these how bout these notions [hmm] some deep as oceans calling out my name screaming out in vain singing out loud
