The thing that I didn't understand about MW3 was why the writers completely ignored Russia. This mission was THE eastern invasion of Russia, something that was heavily implied at the end of the Battle of DC

Because invading russia would be the stupidest Thing they could do Invading russia would result in the Former russian Army / Loyalist allys turning against US and Ultranationalist President Vorshevsky and his moderate Wing turning against them - without turning against russia Vorshevsky was still trying to stop the war and get back Control over the hardliners and Ultranationalist Military

Nice gameplay. I remember trying the spec ops mission in those damn locker rooms for full stars was almost impossible. Just like it would be IRL, since the Russians train for this kind of thing since they're born... This op wouldn't have made it through the first minute.

Nope, Fox 3 is used for a launch of an active radar-guided missile (to destroy vehicles that use active radar or a radar station like in this video). Fox 2 on the other hand is used for infrared-guided missile (air-to-air, like the AIM-9 Sidewinder).

​@@FrankieMankie Not quite correct. Fox 1 is for semi active radar guided missiles, which don't have no seeker on their own, but have to be guided by the aircrafts radar. Fox 3 is active radar guided missiles like the AMRAAM which have their own seeker and don't have to be guided into the target. The target doesn't need to have a radar at all. Fox codes are only used for Air to Air missiles anyways. The missile fired in the video above was a HARM though, an Air to Surface, anti radiation missile. You wouldn't say "Fox" at all but "Magnum". Like Magnum (brevity code for the launch of the HARM) SA-2 (the surface to air missile being targeted) south west (the direction). Magnum SA-2 south west.
