Oh...! This is such an important topic! The way a person or a team manages their tasks is what defines how your project will run and how your specialists will perform. Briefly speaking, it defines almost all about your productivity, comfort, and stress levels. Understanding why you/your team absolutely need a managing system is crucial because if there is no proper management all will come to a mess where nobody will see the order and each responsibility, and there will be so much place for frustration, procrastination, ineffectiveness and so on, so it can lead to disaster. In my career as a motion designer and animator, I worked in super organized places as well as in environments where all are doing something somehow and you will never find the ends especially when you are close to the deadline )))) So it is always better to have a plan, use the specialist's brains as a processing power train, and a task managing system as a rails. Super useful video, as always!

Hey Yevheni, thanks for the great comment. And absolutely, just like you after going through so many different productions you truly appreciate organisation, the bigger the project the better organised it needs to be otherwise chaos prevails and makes everyone’s life’s so much more difficult.

Excellent video and content! Which task management software have you worked with in the past at a studio that’s been fully approved and deemed safe by your IT team?

Thanks Zom...good question...it's normally Jira for tasks and Confluence for documentation. Most studios use this because of safely and avoiding leaks online.
