i think my favorite thing about this show is assistant Tom. He has his own sassy input when they are doing they task, and depending on what they are doing it seems like he's also just having a good time and enjoying himself with his own input during the tasks

@@platismatiaglauca The tasks are enjoyable but I can't get over the cringe watching them trying to replicate the characters of Greg and Alex. I think it would be better had they'd hired two comedians and just let them figure out what kind of interaction works best for them. This seems so forced.

For the aubergine task, couldn't you interpret "the furthest distance" as either the pencil starting the furthest distance from the aubergine, OR the furthest distance from you. I think another distance task also involved someone arguing it was the furthest distance from the starting point

I found it interesting that Cashman said the British term and Gleason said the American term for eggplant. I assume the word Cashman used would be correct since Australia was historically a British colony but now I'm not sure what an Australian typically calls that purple vegetable we usually call eggplant. I was surprised Gleason said that.

Luke was my favourite this whole season, I wish he won. I thought Danielle and Jimmy were entertaining, but Luke was really the only one I was rooting for. Nina clearly has ADHD, which definitely worked against her.

Enjoyed the series, pretty good group of contestants. Good mix of personalities, their characters didn't overlap too much so I never felt like any contestant was just a less entertaining version of another. The only thing I'd have changed is Julia after the 4th time she had the "mental block" about the final line of the task, the last 17 times shouldn't have made the edit. It wasn't a bad concept, just lacked execution. If she'd not read it but then changed her response to Tom's reminders and tried to find cheeky ways to get out of it, it could have been a good running gag. But the same "shocked" reaction over and over with no variance stopped landing for me.

Luke is so underrated. He's extremely witty, often he did better in the tasks than the score would make you think, and he's a great sport whenever the taskmaster didn't buy his ideas. Fantastic contestant!

Yeah, it's a trend I noticed with amost 4th-5th place contestants. The less points they have, the more entertaining and/or amicable they seem. between Luke, Victoria Coren Mitchell, Ivo Graham, and of course David Baddiel, I really don't mind who wins.

I think Tom made a good replacement for Alex in this series. He's the right mixture of "cute", cheeky, and prickish to be the assistant. He should have said "All the information is on the task" for the present challenge, to avoid giving the hat away

I really liked this serries a lot, I knew none of these people going into it but they all grew on me by the end. I still think Taskmaster New Zealand season 2 is my all time favorite Taskmaster serries but I can fully understand why this is your personal favorite.
