As somebody who has worked in hospitality I love how Sue and Susan go from very artificially playing the role of hotel workers in a weird improv to completely naturally playing a convincing pair of hotel workers at an understaffed hotel because Alex very convincingly plays a horrible hotel guest

Back in the 90s, the tv show Babylon 5 was a thing. S science fiction show that had a 5 year arc for the story. In year 3, we used to have watch parties and all come together for an evening. And order delivery food. We’d have 6 hours of show to watch. (Only one of us had paid for the cable package that included the channel that aired the show) I travelled to the USA for a science fiction convention. One of the attendees recorded the show the Thursday before the weekend convention. He played the show in his hospitality suite 3 times before I heard about it. He loaned me the tape, instead of playing it again on his VCR he’d brought to the convention. I failed at finding a spare VCR to play it on. So I contacted the show. Good news! The hotel had VCRs for rent! Bad news! They wanted 300$ for a day. (At the time, a VCR cost 300$.) Out of my price range. Ahhh! Hotels. And the exorbitant rates they charge! (I did see the episode, weeks later at another watch party. Our saviour had watched the show more than once herself... so enjoyed watching us watch the show, knowing the surprises and thrills to come. We had no idea how closely she watched our faces at the time.)

Call it "The 16ers" and have them do Bake Off, Love Island (with ridiculously hot models cast as well and they're only allowed to "date" the comics), Rupaul's Drag Race - not sure how this would work, maybe they should be the makeover group for the actual RPDR, etc. etc. They could do a "Real Housewives of the 16ers" series that focuses on their families.

I really hope they do open a B&B together 😂 And there’s a quick moment where Sue is reading him his bedtime story and you can see Susan panicking past in the background. 😂 This whole thing was perfection.

Such a fantastic season with the sweetest cast, and some of the most fun out-of-the-box thinking I've seen so far. They really gave Greg and Alex a run for their money with working together and doing things so out of left field. Loved it! Sue and Susan should definitely do a show together, and I would watch anything with Sam and Lucy interreacting with each other. I'd be happy to watch an entire series of nothing but Julien being condescending to Alex for an hour each week.

Can't believe the series is already ending! What a fantastic batch of contestants though, can't wait to see who comes out on top! (Spoilers below) Edit: That first task might be my personal favorite now. As soon as Alex said "shocking but family friendly", I told my wife "Well you chew up the donut, and then you either baby bird it into Alex's mouth, or you spit it into his face". I cheered when my wishes both came true!!

I'm not sure how well this cast knew each other before Taskmaster, but Sam's hugging of everyone at the very end tells how close this group got. That was really nice to see.

"Uncle Julian, managing the two lunatics" that sums it up for that team for sure.. when Julian is the mature one hahaha Holy shit that task was magnificent.. I loved all of these competitors. At first, I thought Julian would not buy into any of the tasks whatsoever, but some of the incredible things with which he came up were absolutely hysterical. The "not-so-subtle" shooing away of the Cris the hotel guest at the end of that task was priceless. The we find out that Julian pocketed the entire tip for himself. Sam Campbell is so damn offbeat, and Lucy being on her own planet no matter what happens. Sue and Susan being the best "team' was simply outstanding! Can't wait to binge watch this tonight and pick out things that i missed the first go round.

I am so very sad that this is the end with this cast. I know I'll love the next cast in their own way, but this has been one of the most enjoyable mixes of wonderful people the show has had in a very long time.

Sue and Susan get on like friends who’ve know each other all their lives. Lucy and Sam behave like chaotic siblings in constant competition for their father’s affection. Julian is their resigned father who goes along which their schemes and amuses himself along the way. The casting on this series was pure perfection!

I have to admit I really hoped Julian would be the champion. His dry wit and sharp humor really appealed to me. I think he really enjoyed the show and I think he would have been especially proud to win the series. He did really well in the tasks and was so unique in his choices. Congratulations to Sam of course, but Julian just added that needed sophistication and elegance.

you know, i considered introducing my family to taskmaster by showing them this episode while it aired while we were all together for thanksgiving. and now i'm very glad i didn't because if i said "hey guys let's watch this show you've never heard of, it's one of the funniest things I've ever seen, you'll love it" and then if the first thing they saw was lucy beaumont spitting chewed donut into little alex horne's mouth, i think they would have been horrified and traumatized and would never trust my media recommendations again. i think that, while i loved this episode so much (susan wokoma, my beloved), there may be better ways to intorduce the show to my family.

I just love the casts where they are all so friendly with each other and cheer each other on.
