Are you still working as a tax accountant? How are you experiencing it?
@JD-lp7id3 ай бұрын
@@SultanAksoy I am actually no longer at this job, it was very rough, they overworked everyone. Even during the off season, they wanted to front load everything and made us work crazy hours. I am looking for a different career path or something similar at a smaller/private firm. Being in public accounting at a large firm is definitely a great way to gain a lot of experience quickly. I would recommend if this is the career path you want to take, bare with the long hours because the experience is worth it!

What is your understanding of real estate clients at big4? I would like to focus exclusively on REITs, cost segregation, tax credit “lihtc”, etc. Perhaps this is found at national firms like BDO, RSM, etc.

hi sis, great info. sis, is tally v 9.0, a good starting point, to get entry into this field? Unfortunately, salaries in India is extremely low, for tally freshers. it is 150 USD per month.

Hey Gabrielle, I have been working in one of the big fours in India for 2+ years now as a Tax Analyst, I have worked on various Workbooks for tax calculations and Return preparations as well. I also happen to do Return review work. Since you pointed out that All the Return prep work usually gets outsourced to India, I would really like to understand what's the difference between the work I do as a Tax Analyst from India and Tax Analyst from the US/Canada?
