I think in marvel Spider-Man 2 they need to implement Web travel time as a base mechanic-depending on how far the building he is shooting a web to is…the longer the web takes to travel there eg 0.5-2 seconds…and during the time the web is traveling Spider-Man is still continuing his momentum from the previous swing whether it’s falling down or falling towards and then getting yanked into the momentum of the new web line once it attaches. This would be so much better than magically floating into a swing instantly after pressing R2 This would also compliment fall damage being added into the game and give how we time our web swings some importance in the sense that we’re not mindlessly swinging but instead we’re constantly aware of our surrounding and accounting for web travel time so that we don’t shoot too late and crash into a building or splat on the road.

@@mugiwara6213 it ain’t gonna be geometry bruh😂…unless u have a dodo brain it should be easy for us to adapt to it…I didn’t suggest this so that when we play we end up in a maths class…I suggested it for realism….go search “the amazing Spider-Man 2 opening swing scene” and go to 0:35 and this should help you visualise what I’m talking about…it’s all about realism not maths…it shouldn’t be hard for us to play with 0.5-2 seconds of web delay unless you have a pea brain your subconscious should do all the work….and also there wouldn’t be web delay all the time-it’ll depend on how far the building is-if it’s close then it’ll attach pretty much instantly

@@mugiwara6213 and even in the Spider-Man clip I mentioned-in the swing after the swing at 0:35 just before he gets close to the road during a dive you can see he doesn’t instantly swing up when he shoots a web…he still falls for like a split second then you visually see him get yanked up by the web just before the road Listen it’s just my opinion…I just want a game with web swinging like the TASM2 movie…coz that was some of the best swinging we’ve seen 🤷‍♂️

I wouldn’t like that and tbh it’s kinda like that already with the momentum only you don’t take fall damage which I think is just weird for Spider-Man to not take fall damage if he lands on a building and rolls but not when he just lands on it from a high drop and the same distance. And for the web time it’s like that if you are at a high distance with no webs and if you’re falling it travels anywaus

@@thesnipingspider3852 there may be web travel time however 1) the way the webs travel is like in the cartoons…the web line travels In like a spiral(you can see this if you shoot and quickly got to photo mode)…and we need to be able to visually see the web travel…some web vapour also like a water Vapor should come out of the web shooters everytime we shoot. 2)you don’t continue momentum…coz if you go in photo mode after shooting a web sometimes you’ve begun momentum on a web that hasn’t even attached yet..it’s like spiders starts to swing on air at first 😂

Really like the animation mods but i don't think it suits Andrew's spider man more. He is really agile but at the same time his swinging is super aesthetic and his movements are fully coordinated, unlike Miles's since he is new in being Spider man.

Honestly I think it suits Andrew more than the original animations, especially because it looks like the mod they were using replaces all of Miles’ clumsy-looking animations with more coordinated ones. As for the other animations, they just look more fun and playful, rather than inexperienced, so I feel like it fits Andrew- and Spider-Man as a whole- better. But to each their own.
