awsome mate. i'm in rosebery and found an old map of pre 1900 gold mines ...theres one on a property 200 meters from me...been thinking about tunnelling in my backyard , got that quarts everywhere at my place. The bushfires sure make it easier to spot things.

Gold is where you find it they say. If you see highly mineralised quarts, it very well may be worth doing a crush in a dolley pot an pan to see what you just might have laying around you. Good luck if you do.

The question you have to ask is why it stopped , did the gold run out , or did the gold price drop . which leads to the next question , is there still gold there

The ones that cut across the hill are costeens. You sample along the cutting and when you get colour you chas it up.
