OG Tanki carried me through childhood because I never had a gaming console or high end laptop so this game, wizard 101 and a few others is all i could have a playable experience. All the new updates and what not kinda ruined how Tanki used to be but it’s great to hear about this classic version

I cant believe it, i hope its the real old tanki where you can at least choose which server or team you want to join, all the old maps and no augments, no drones and all that, if thats the real old tanki, i would love it and probably play it (hopefully not with a new account but if, i would do it)

3k views in 12 hours, honestly it says a lot. A bunch of old players left the game because of bad updates, and they might come back if this Tanki Classic thing is really an old version of the game (with some improved elements of course).

As you said, it's huge. But, many players, including me, invested a lot of time in other versions and many have reached max rank or max garage, if tanki classic will be "start from 0", I don't think people will quit the other versions and come to this, only because it's official.

As long at it will have og maps (maybe adding the remastered ones), m0-m3 skins and old upgrade system, no drones, no overdrives, no augments (or only crystal ones that dont make the turret broken), old crystal system, old log in rewards, no premium, old kits, no matchmaking, every post hammer turret gets nerfed for camping or just not exist, old isida, old paint-protection system, all of these would be a big W for tanki OG players. I think OG players would be fine if everyone would have to start a new acc but how are the devs going to make money from this since OG tanki only had kits as the main way of making money. Basically if they release 2010 tanki then it might be boring but the OG feeling is there as well as gold boxes being fun and having a purpose again or they add some of the best updates (remastered maps, mouse control, missions, damage indicators) then it would be the perfect version for returning and new players.

Tanki online Developers in a nutshell: -Creating a game back in 2009 -Doing good development for a few years -Somewhen in 2014-2015 they started crap updates for profit (rookie mistake) -Their game died -They bring back the old game to save whatever is left from their game -They release the old game -Players come back -They get enthusiast with this, so they start the crap updates again to earn profit again (moron's mistake) -The cycle goes on for years until humanity ceases to exist

I know many people have asked for this, so it's great that they can now be addressed. I'm more realistic and don't idealize that the old Tanki was perfect. In fact, I used to complain about some things back then. I personally like the game more today, it has more variety and I also have a lot of stuff that I wouldn't want to lose.

@Taspens To be fair, I cant say if their idea is bad or not since we dont know what tanki classis even is, but if they plan to give us a new game that is just the 2016 version of tanki with some minor tweaks I dont see that as something that would last long before dying. I think making it a completely separate game would lead to a similar result like tanki x. In my opinion they should keep the 2 things related in some way. Maybe do what Fortnite did and go back to the old version but make it modern so players dont get bored quickly
