So many special moments for so many of us, intertwined with this music and these melancholy memories, I wonder how much of all of those we share. Bittersweet loss and longing, yearning for better times and long lost years and emotions. Silent Hill, so significant and important has had it's time and gone away. Harry, James, Maria, Heather... all of them shared a lot with us, and perhaps brought out things inside of us which were always there, and never left, despite the feelings and experiences slumbering, awoken by a song here, radio static there, a line in a book or a newspaper. So hard and so often we tried to escape that town, in our restless dreams. And sometimes, perhaps like me, a small part of you too longs to be back there again.

Silent Hill will always remind me of that Summer between 6th and 7th grade, even though I was like 12 and scared shitless of SH, seeing my cousin play it peeked my interest. So over that summer I got SH, SH2, & SH3 and forced myself to play them despite being terrified. Chlorine smell also reminds me of SH as I'd come back from pool and just hop on to playing it while I still had that stench on me lmao Good yet bad times of being utterly terrified in bed at night thinking of all the monsters, especially the ones from SH3 lol
