Hi Lauren, I have to say you look wonderful ❤. That little clip of baby Violet with her beautiful eyes wide open is precious. I’m happy she is doing so well and gaining weight. Before you know it she will be sitting with all of you at the table. I know your heart is also broken feeling the loss of baby Maggie but she is now giving strength to violet and sitting on her shoulder protecting and praying for her. In time the pain will not be so hard. It will always be with you but it will become more tolerable. I love you Lauren. You’re a wonderful mom,wife,daughter,and friend. Get a roast, sear all sides, put in crockpot with 1 jar of gardinera, (mild or hot) 1 cup water. Set medium setting for 8 hours. Serve on good Italian loaf buns.

Hey Lauren, I missed your last video cause I had major surgery so... I am not able to watch it. Anyway just checking in on Miss Violet, how is she doing? I hope every day she gets stronger and stronger. I know she can't come home yet, but... I pray for her everyday and prayers at bedtime as well. I asked God last night in my prayers to continue to hold Violet and you and Mark and the boys in his arms . And guide you all with his love and strength to hug you all and keep you and Mark safe on your travels to and from the hospital and Mark to work and God bless your parents as well for being there for all of you. Thank you for the honest feedback on the meals. Now that I am retired I think batch cooking might be a good idea, although it would have been super helpful when I was working too! Your actually supposed to rinse the quinoa because it has a coating on it! And the rinse makes the quinoa softer more palatable!

Hi Lauren..Ive had Chili w cinnamon before, not really my family's style either..but let me tell you..if youre ever making chickwn stock..toss a star anise towrds the last half hr (not too long so it doesn't overpower it) and youll find yourself smacking your lips and saying this is the best chicken broth, soup etc, ive ever had! They add them to a lot of asian soup stocks. its not enough to taste licorice flavor..especially if like me you despise licorice anything..it justtakes it to a few levels beyond basic broth. also have done it w a cinnamon stick. that versions nice too. but it doesnt need it. praying for you guys and baby girl. ❤

Parsnips are my favorite veggie. When you get more moose roasts. COOK it the way you normally would and add carrots, parsnips, onions and potatoes. Yummy.

Quinoa is hit or miss! Our crew doesn’t like it. But if we rinse/soak it, it kind of changes the texture a bit - it’s tolerable. But whenever a recipe calls for quinoa we do rice instead. 😂

Shabbat Shalom Hamm Family. It's a rainy, overcast Spring day here in Virginia. I pray you are all well. I'm definitely behind on videos... life has been extremely busy, plus health issues... ours and others. I've missed you guys. Hopefully, I'll be caught up soon 🌷 Thank you for sharing this information. I'll have to check it out. With my chronic pain issues, it's always nice to have quick meals and premade meals at hand 🍽️ I have those bag holders. They are definitely useful. As for prepping meals, here's a TIP: When trying out a new recipe, I always add 30+ minutes to prep time depending on the recipe. It's very bothersome when you're on a time crunch and a 15 minute meal prep ends up taking 2x or more prep time - not including the actual cooking of the dish. Oy 🙄 The Tex-Mex Chicken looks like it'd be good turned into a rice bowl served with avocado slices, street corn, jalapenos and a squeeze of lime... a quesadilla side would be good too 🍚 I'm biased towards my own Chili... and it absolutely does not have cinnamon in it (why!?). I made a big pot Thursday. It's delicious on its own with cheese, sour cream and crackers, but is also good over a Mexican Omelette or pasta 🍲 Hmmm... Arby's Sauce with Sloppy Joes... sounds good. Our store has Arby's Sauce and Horsey Sauce. We have both on hand 🍔 The Tuscan Tortellini Soup and Bean Burritos sound good. I love pepperoncinis, but not in my Pot Roast 🌯 Homemade meatballs are always the best, especially with pasta and red sauce or Marinara. I always make extra meatballs and Marinara for subs served with a parmesan, provolone and mozzarella cheese blend (lightly broiled), Italian seasoning (fresh) and Sweet Cherry Peppers (whole, slices or relish) with a side of cheese curds, fries or onion rings 🍝 Lazy lasagna... Hmmm 🤔 Again, thank you for sharing. A big hello to Miss Luna... missed her. Y'all have a great weekend. Take care. Yah's Blessings ❤️
