Lots of outdoor places sell these long handled spoons and sporks. They are perfect for mixing and eating freeze dried foods from the bag. Massaging the closed bag somewhat helps a little. Thanks for your efforts. My favorite is the Fettuccine Alfredo with Chicken. That stuff is awesome.

Agree with many of your comments not all -- Pasta Primavera one of my favorites also like Beef Stroganoff Breakfast Skillets my favorite Breakfast -- My experience if too much water hold top tight pour some of the water out -- Also recommend more time to hydra than directions given stir as directed helps too -- Have not tried all especially some of the new ones -- Wish I could get all Mountain House meals as Pro-Paks -- Love the Simplicity of Preparation just boil water !!!

I purchased a curry that I will get today just so that I could test out to see if it will upset my stomach or not WHILE I'M HOME. 😂 It's probably good that the curry wiped you out since you ate a week's worth of freeze-dried food. Freeze dried food has a tendency to make you constipated when you eat too many of them in a row. That's what I was thinking about when I saw how many you were eating. The curry came to your rescue. 😂

Excited for this video, this is exactly what I've asked people like Steve1989mre to make. The MRE stuff is super fun, but I want current stuff too! EDIT: first you hit me with that description of the fried rice, and I 100% get that, then the scrambled eggs, and I get that even more perfectly what you are conveying! Been there, tasted that, not a fan of that gritty/wet egg taste either! EDIT3: now I think we're long lost brothers. My sister loved beef stroganof and when my mom would ask what we wanted as kids, it was that, and I hated it! Now I'm curious, thoughts on scalloped potatoes or au gratin potatoes?

I dumped the breakfast skillet after two bites, and the biscuits and gravy was like mush. Have not been impressed with their breakfast options. The only one I’ve liked so far has been the yellow curry. All others don’t seem to cook properly with the package instructions.

I was in the military and ate MREs, going to the restroom was sometimes tuff. That's why I was always worried eating those types of meals. Did those meals affect you going to the restroom?
