Weber 45 DCOE installed accompanying a Racing Beat Street Port Exhaust Took this survivor 1979 RX7 to a whole new level. A Great sound and great throttle response. A few tuning bits to tidy up, but dang this thing is a ripper!!! Drop any questions in the comments below!!!

Back in the day I was a Weber side draft expert I had hundreds of dollars worth of jets choke tubes etc I had a 74 Opel Manta 2.0 with cam high compression pistons, I had twin 42 millimeter dcoe carbs with very long stroke pump rods no bog at all plus good gas mileage.

Weld a damn bung on the header and tune it with a wideband sensor. It speeds the process up. Sweet ride though. Never experienced a Weber. Converted mine to efi. But I do appreciate the good old ways of getting her done. Weber is a classy addition to a classy car. Sounds legit

Yea that was my thoughts... but will just had his whole exhaust cerakoted so he wasn't too stoked for that idea. I have plenty of jets and we will figure it out quickly for sure!!

This brings me back to messing around with my 12a that I had a Weber 45dcoe on. Not going to lie, pain in the butt, I’m a fuel injection guy 🤣. It used to burn way too rich, massive headaches after working on that thing.

Nice 79’ with glass moonroof. The red is nice. The 45 Weber gives the car a great amount of pep. I have a 79’ stock with Weber and drove a 85’ gsl Nikki. Big difference

This might be a dumb question, but would this significantly reduce fuel economy over the stock nikki? I've got a bone stock '80 that I daily drive, making about 19 mpg combined. I'm looking to do pretty much the exact same setup as this video (45dcoe + RB exhaust), but probably wouldn't if my fuel consumption goes through the roof.

Question: bought a geo tracker has a 12a rotary in it starts but when I hit the throttle it chokes up the carburetor looks like the one in the video. But bought it on Amazon cheap. If I bought a racing beat intake and added a holly carb will it fix the problem

Eric - love the content! Question on your comment about the RB exhaust and header with the Nikki. I have an '82 GSL with a stock 12A and the RB header and exhaust and it runs really well. The exhaust just went on this summer - what should I be watching out for? Cheers!
@RADPotential
@RADPotential 2 жыл бұрын
When you do have the header and a nikki carb. There are places on the stock manifold that need to be blocked off. That's all I was referring too. A good working nikki is a great carb to use.

I haven't been around too many new ones. Go check out the Holley Sniper EFI car. That one has a newer RB street port. It's not too loud. I dont have any parts for sale
