When I had to sing for my music class, 15+ years ago, it appeared as if the schools cd player was screwing with the sound of the song/cd I brought in. I of course really really wanted to do my performance and spend 30 minutes walking all around school looking for another cd player that would hopefully not mess with the sound, but sadly, when I got back to class with just enough time for me to do my performance, it turned out that one didn't play the song I spend 2 nights playing faster and slower with Windows Music Player while recording it with the Windows Audio Recorder in 1 second bits, properly either.
