Ahlgrens bilar ("Ahlgren's cars") is such a classic in Sweden! Been around since the 1950s. Rumor has it that the candy factory were making marshmallows, but it didn't turn out as they planned, instead it became these chewy candies, that then became a success. The ones you tried were the originals, but nowadays they have expanded the brand, there are bigger ones, called limousines (I've only seen those in the pick n' mix section, not in the bags), and there are salty licorice cars (salmiak flavor), and tires and green cars (apple/pear flavour), and also sour ones.

I’m from Sweden and I love this video and I love that Elodie and Emorette tried it too 😍 the thingy with the pizza flavor is actually not candy. It’s knäckebröd, hard bread we eat usually with butter and cheese for example. So this hard bread bar, is like a ”snack” when you’re in a hurry and have’nt got the time to eat lunch. The pizza flavored one is not tasty though 😅 the cookies have hazelnut/chocolate cream in between so similar to nutella 😍

Yeah, it's definitely more of a savory alternative to like a muesli bar, and the pizza version is probably the worst one. Pesto or chives are good though! If you like rye, anyway 🙂

Hello from a Swede. 4:06 Yes, they should be that hard. One of my favorite sweets when I was a child. I don't buy them as often these days, but that's because I don't buy loose or pick and mix candy sweets as often these days. :) 6:54 It's not the same cake. But like the Americans have Oreo, we have Swedish Ballerina. My favorite cookies.

Wasa is like a good healthy snack, perfect when you're on the go on weekdays, it's not supposed to taste like a pizza it's more like the filling has "pizza spice" flavour typically oregano, basil and marjoram. 😅 Most of these are more like weekend snacks perfect for movies or parties.

The red "Ferraris" are raspberry flavored. We LOVE raspberry in Sweden. The most popular flavor combination we have is raspberry & licorice. You will find pretty much any type of edible products with some sort of raspberry & licorice version. Would not surprise me if they somehow make a raspberry & licorice chips flavor at some point :P

Estrella also has a dill flavoured crisp and the texture is sooo much better and crispier than OLW It is nice to hear you like the ballerina cookies and the cinnamon gifflar. They are ok in flavour, but still low in flavour compared to other things available here in Sweden The tutti frutti pastilles are also available as larger softer gummy candies in a bag, they are delicious!

Aww.. I love that you guys share the snacks with your kids because I know most parents doesn't allow their kids to eat that much snacks. I bought snacks to share with my kids as well and they are picky eaters so they only eat what they like and my youngest doesn't like gummies for some reason so it's even more difficult for me to give him gummy supplements. 😅

I’m from Sweden, you must try our famous milk chocolate. It’s called Marabou. it comes in lots of flavors. Marabou Milk chocolate its the orginal flavor but it is in oreo flavor and much more❤️❤️We have OLW cheese balls, OLW cheez crunches, many Haribo candys, Marabou cakes and much more❤️❤️

There is another good classic in Sweden called Refreshers stick (lemon) that will rip you're fillings out , it is a hard toffie with a lemony powder filling in the middle, it is so good, but if you have fillings, expect a visit to the dentist afther.

The ferrari cars are often quite hard. You need like a freshly made batch that just hit the stores in order for them to be softer. I usaly avoid that candy cause they most of the time they are almost hard like a rock. About the chips with Dill and Gräslök. Gräslök means Chive.

Eh, it's a bit iffy. Dumle is a Swedish sweet, produced by Mazetti and later acquired by Fazer. That version of Dumle was developed in Finland, but obviously wouldn't exist without the Swedish original.
